Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl WhiteCustomer Review: One and Only bath you will ever need! Summary: 5 Stars
This bath is wonderful! after buying newborn bathtub, I noticed that my son kept slipping down during his bath in his bathtub, which bothered me of course. this is the ONLY bathtub in it's class- the bar between the legs is amazing, you don't have to lower the water level to keep the baby from slipping into it and make the baby cold. it works great until they are ready for the regular bath. My son, now 3 1/2, didn't need an 'in between bathtub/bather' since he was able to sit up in this one comfortably and still splash about. Overall, it is the best bathtub out there that and is made well.
key points:
1. bar between the legs prevents the baby from slipping down, along with "lips" on either side to prevent the baby from falling side to side.
2. the drain is so easy to use, just make sure it is not blocked by a wash cloth or toy to prevent drainage.
3.simple. all there is to it- nothing to break or get damaged, solid one piece construction. with a rubber drain hose which, if lost or damaged, is easy to replace without having to go through the maunfacturer and will cost about $1! but I have never lost mine. I am pregnant again and am planning on using this bathtub!
Customer Review: Great for 3-7 mos., older ACTIVE babies questionable? Summary: 4 Stars
I had this bath since my daughter was born, and it worked pretty well for the first few months. Though in retrospect, I probably would've gotten a standard "infant" tub and worked up to this one. It was a little big, but we put a sponge under her butt & it worked ok even as a very small infant. After she had decent head control, it was awesome! She LOVED this bathtub for several months. After she learned to sit up and really start moving around - forget about it. She wanted NO part of this tub & just kept trying to climb out of it because it's not a "sitting" tub - just a "lying down" tub. For most active babies, I'm sure this bath would work for some time. My baby is quite active (9 mo. walker), and found it hard to lie still like an infant after she got her newfound skills. Unfortunately, I've had to resort to getting one of those baby bath seats that are so dangerous (of course, when babies are left unattended... that's where all the bad press came from). I sit on the edge of the tub with her and put my foot on the bottom of it so it doesn't tip over. I purchased it around 7 months. She loves this, and I think it's a good transition until she's in the tub independently.
Customer Review: WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TUB - IT IS FUN TO BATHE AGAIN Summary: 5 Stars
This tub is the tub to buy!!!!! I made the mistake while I was pregnant to register for a tub without checking on any reviews - BIG MISTAKE!! I got the First Years 4 in 1 tub (awful) and had problems with it from day 1 - I figured I would stick it out and wait for it to convert when my son was able to sit up - well we tried it and it was a nightmare. So I have been researching for awhile on a better tub to invest in and every site I went on people were raving about this EuroTub. I finally went to Babies R Us yesterday morning and purchased this tub. Last night I bathed my son in this and he absolutely LOVED it!!! He has never had so much fun with bath time. My son is 7 months and I feel awful that I made him wait so long to have this tub. He can sit in it and it supports him really well while I wash him, and he can still fit in the infant side to lay while I wash his hair. This is the best $25 investment I could have ever made. We bathed again tonight and he loved it even more. It is huge and there is so much room for them to splash and play. After having a horrible original tub experience, I am overly pleased to have found this tub. I would highly recommend it!!!!
Customer Review: this tub works for special needs infants/toddlers too! Summary: 5 Stars
I have a 22 month old son, height is 34inches, weight 31 lbs. with a muscle disorder, very low muscle tone, can't sit unsupported and had such difficulties bathing him safely with store bought products until this great tub.The features of having two sides, the infant side is brilliant with the lateral side supports for babies trunk, and the crotch support are great. They allow baby to be safely supported while safely covered by soothing warm bath water. So many tubs have the baby up in the cold air!! And the toddler end of it,where my son sits, also benefits from the same crotch support, and a gentle incline of the back support him nicely while also allowing him to be mostly coverd in water. I use it with the giant bear sponges just for some extra cushioning on his back, and protection for his privates. He gets very active in the bath and this keeps him safe. I highly, highly recommend this tub to anyone, it will take your child easily from newborn to 2yrs.. My son is really big for his age and I know he will still fit in it for 6 mos more.Only drawback, which to me doesn't matter but, it is large, but it can be hung on a wall and out of the way. Great, great product, Thanks!!
Customer Review: Love this tub! Summary: 5 Stars
If you're thinking this tub might be too big for a newborn, think again. The Eurobath's contoured shape is perfect for cradling a baby from newborn on up, safely and comfortably. I wish I had found this tub sooner. It would have spared me months of holding a squirming baby with one hand while bathing him with the other. With this tub, you really can use both hands to play with and bath the baby.
Now that my son is older, I love the fact that I can let him play in the deep end. The tub has a molded contour that makes a perfect hand hold for a baby who's learning to sit on his own. Bath time just took on a whole new dimension!
I also like how easy it is to keep this tub clean. There are no foam cushions, which you don't need and that never get as clean as you'd like anyway. The Eurobath is smooth plastic and wipes clean with no fuss. In fact, the only thing I could possibly add to this tub would be a temperature strip, but I have bath toys that have those so that's not a big deal.
Buy this tub! It's the only one you'll need. Sure it's big, but babies grow so fast that you'll end up replacing a smaller one anyway. I learned the hard way.
