We've started potty training our 14 month old and this chair has really been great! It is a good height for her, holds a good amount, EASY to clean. I love that it doubles as a step stool. We use it for both potty and stool. First potty, clean the bowl in the big toilet, then use it as a stool to wash hands. I especially appreciate the seat coming off and having handles. We switch back and forth from the trainer to the big toilet and this potty seat is versatile for both. The handles allow her to feel secure and she loves to grip them to assist in her "pooping" effort. There have also been no leakage from urination b/c the removable seat has a shield down into the potty to make sure things go where they are supposed to. We've even taken the seat with us places so we can continue with our normal potty regimine. This seat comes HIGHLY recommended.Customer Review: I love this potty seat!

I absolutely LOVE this potty. I can't compare it to any others because it is the only one we have ever wanted or needed. It cleans easily and is very durable. We have had it for 3 years and it has held up well. I love that it is portable. When my son was potty training we would just throw the whole thing in the back of the car and pull over to the side of the road when he needed to use it. Now that he is potty trained, my son still uses the removable seat reducer daily to keep him from falling into the toilet. Soon my daughter will be potty training and my only problem is that I wish they sold the insert separately so that they could each have one. I can't believe what a value this potty is. I did a lot of research before finally purchasing this potty, and I'm so glad I did! It is by far the best potty I have seen...easy to use, easy to clean, no worries about leaks with the long front splash gaurd and a decent size! I don't normally write reviews, but thought this potty was worth the time. The removable seat is not exactly what I was expecting...it's rubbery rather than cushie and isn't all one piece...but it is still very good quality and keeps accidents at bay...I've found splash guards to be a necessity for both girls and boys! It's also nice to have something that can transition from the little potty to the big one. My daughter is 18 months old and almost potty trained thanks to an early start at it with this potty. I ordered this potty chair after seeing the others all had some negative aspects. This seat is perfect! My almost 2.5 year old daughter took to it immediately. It's not too small (she's very tall) but not too big (she has a petite bottom). It cleans up easily, and is not so lightweight or small that it becomes a toy for her. The seat part itself comes off to use on a regular toilet, and has handles for the child to steady him/herself. The bowl insert is large and removes easily for cleaning. There are also handles on the base that overlap with the handles on the seat so you can easily pick it up and move it. The lid closes "just like mommy's potty" and becomes a wide flat step stool. I've never written a review before, but just had to put my two cents in for this potty chair. This is the third one we've gotten for my three year old and she absolutely loves it! It is the perfect size for her (most other potties are way too small for a preschooler). She refused to use the potty until we got this one. It has been wonderful. I do agree with some of the other reviews in that there are a lot of little areas under the seat to clean, but everything is easy to get to. Ours also arrived with scuff marks on the lid, but was obviously not used, so don't know what happened there. Overall, this product is wonderful for the price. It is high quality and easy to use all around!
