We've had this potty for a month now, and could not be happier. We originally had a seat that went right on the toilet, but because it hinders my toddler's independence (by not being able to get on himself) it was a dud. I was worried about some of the other potty seats because of reviews suggesting they would not accomodate a bigger/older child.
This seat is perfect! Since the chair came (via FAST SHIPPING), my son has used the seat every single day at least once and sometimes more. He'll sit on there for quite awhile with a book and no red marks on his chunky thighs. It's great that his feet touch the floor, too. He especially loves the step stool, but I would not reccommend showing your child this feature unless you want them moving "the stool" around themselves. As far as cleaning goes, I don't imagine anything would be easier. Great seat. Very pleased. Glad we passed up on the brand I actually prefer (Bjorn).
Oh and did I mention my son is only 21 months??

I bought this product because it has two most important things I am looking for: portable and the splash guard. My son feels very comfortable with it that he has been using this since last August when we got it. The parts are all plastic for easy cleaning. The cushion part of the seat and the the splash guard are all one piece, unlike some other potty seat where the splash guard is an attachment. So that's very easy to clean. The entire potty can be disembled to be cleaned and sanitized from inside out, no hard to reach spots. The seat is soft and contoured with oval opening which is best, unlike a lot of potty I found with a circular small opening. The seat can be put on adult toilet seat which I started training my son after several use to avoid cleaning the bowl. The only thing I wish is that this product comes in just the seat without the bowl, then that would be even better!

Being an asthetic person, I really like the look of this potty. It has a cover that closes - it's a nice and neat look for a potty. When it's closed all you see is white. You see the blue seat only when it's open. We have just started introducing our daughter to potty training and although my daughter has yet to go in it, she enjoys sitting and trying. She just turned 2 years old and is average for weight and height and has no problems sitting down and getting up on her own. The seat size works for her, yet will still be an appropriate size as she gets older. My daughter is a bit picky with how things feel and fit - and she has no problems with this potty. She likes to sit on it and stays seated in the correct position. She holds onto the handles. She likes to open and close the cover, and also uses it as a step stool. I am planning on purchasing a second for the upstairs.Customer Review: I love this potty chair

We were using a potty insert for the big potty but my 2-1/2 year old granddaughter didn't want anything to do with it so we thought if she had her own potty we would have better luck.
I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before making a decision to purchase this item. I'm very happy and pleased with my decision.
This potty is great. It comes apart easily for cleaning. It is just the right height for her to get on and off without help. The hole for the potty is large enough so everything goes where it's suppose to and the seat is soft and flexible and shaped for comfort, and I mean soft plastic not padded so nothing soaks into it to cause odors later. We drop the lid and use it as a stool for washing hands after.
She immeidately started using this potty and the entire family is pleased. I highly recommend this potty.

What else can I say? no frills or bells and whistles. What do you want for something that's going to end up with pee and poop all over it? It worked great for the potty training thing. I stuck it in the living room (on a hard floor) so that my son would actually stop what he was doing to use it. Then every few days , i moved it closer to the bathroom. Now he doesn't use it anymore except as a stool to use the grown up potty. Hey, one less thing I have to clean, right? WHen it first came, I was expecting it to have a "cushy" seat, that's what I think when I see "soft". It's really just a rubber cover over a plastic seat. it's easy enough to wipe down after each use and I really cleaned it every night after he went to bed, as well as the floor underneath, but he's a boy - not expecting everything to be contained - if his dad can't do it, why should he?:)
