Recently, I purchased this doll, video, and book for my niece, because my own daughter truly loved Prudence as a toddler. I know firsthand that "Once Upon A Potty" does the trick as far as potty training little girls. I got this for my 18 month old to introduce her to potty training. Also got the matching book. They didn't make her understand potty training but she does love ready the book and playing with the doll. We tried the video and doll-Didn't encourage our daughter. They were interpreted as playthings rather than items to interact with.
Doing much better in potty training with a one on one on the toilet or potty.
If you want a doll-OK, otherwise save your money.

My 21 month-old daughter LOVES her Prudence doll. She has been a great addition to the book. My daughter actually wants to go on her potty with Prudence. The only drawback is that sometimes she has to go and we have to find Prudence before she will sit on the potty herself.Customer Review: Hope it helps!

The doll was a little smaller than I had envisioned. However the girls seem interested and are enjoying putting the doll on and off the potty. I hope they can learn what they are actually suppose to do from this process.
