This gate was easy to install and is well designed. We're using it at the top of basement stairs. So far it's been an excellent choice that will leave no permanent damage to our door frame - just a quick touch-up paint job. I totally recommend this gate for peace of mind. The only drawback is if you have a cat needing access through the gate. You might then just buy a removable wooden gate to put up only when needed.Customer Review: Great gate!

This is a great gate that is very sturdy, well-made, and can handle lots of traffic through it. The spring-loaded closing feature is nice when you are carrying things and don't have to have a hand free to close it. I have used different gates when my kids were young, and now am using this to separate animals from different areas of the house and this is the best I have seen or used...plus, it looks nice in white.Customer Review: Excellent Gate System!

My son gets into everything and anything. This gate system is excellent. It allows you to have baby in hand and open/close the gate. It automatically closes so if you have forgetful people in your house you don't have to keep checking. These stand the test of time and lots of use. Totally worth it.Customer Review: Happy Customer

This gate has worked out extremely well--for the puppies and my grandkids! Everyone was happier with the physical barrier, and keeping track of active twin 3-year-olds was much simpler for me than it would have been otherwise. The gate is sturdy, well-constructed and attractive.

Recieved the gate with parts missing. When I notified Amazon, they indicated repair/replacement parts were not available and I would have to return and reorder the product. As my wife needed it, this was not possible. This is not a reflection of Amazon but on hte manufacturer.
