I purchased this gate because the description specifically stated that no mounting hardware was required. You lied. It does require mounting cups to be glued or screwed to a wall. I bought this because I only wanted it installed temporarily while our dog is a puppy, so I did not want to leave any marks on the wall. Had I known it required hardware, I would have bought something else. Further, I am glad I bought it to keep my puppy from wandering in the house and not to keep a child safe. The latch is useless because I can push it open with very little force.Customer Review: Great gate!

We were given an older model which we liked. So I researched the company and got this one. They've made some improvements and I love it. Our 15 month old shakes it, trying to get it open and it stays in place which is wonderful for a pressure gate.
When installing the gate I had to call the company for clarification on the directions. The rep returned my call within 10 minutes and walked me through my issue. She was great.
I highly recommend this gate if you dont want to put holes in your walls, want something solid and easy to use.

I love this gate. My dog doesn't appreciate it though. It is well constructed and comes with an extension in case I want to use it on my much wider back yard gate. He likes to watch me when I wash my car or something, so I just move the gate. I wish it came with more little white plastic things that I could permanently put in place in other locations. They aren't really necessary but it would be more efficient. Love it. Really, get it. You have to explain to new people how to open it, but that it is child-proof is a plus for me.Customer Review: great gate

This is the second one of these gates I have purchased. The first one worked out very well, so this is for another location. It is very sturdy and impossible for the baby to open. It closes behind you, too, which is a nice feature. You can open it with one hand by pulling up on the handle and swinging the gate open. I did have some trouble with installation, but once I got that I had to tighten the wheels more (even though they met the walls already) It lined up perfectly. The instructions were a bit tricky. I love this gate! It is perfect for a large opening. It is easy to assemble and is very secure and stable with the added extension bar. It is also easily manipulated using one hand (while you're holding your child in the other). Or if you need to step over the gate, you can do this easily also (just in case your child is asleep and you don't want to wake them with the 'click' sound that the automatic closing gate makes). This is a great buy and a great price for this item. It definitely won't break the bank. Great product!
