Customer Review: Colors are hard to match

I bought this valence to get ideas about color for my nursery and to see if I wanted to purchase the entire bedding set that matches. While this valence is made of a very soft material and has cute characters on it, the colors were a bit hard to match with any paint color I liked. Although I'm having a girl, I wanted a nursery theme that wasn't too feminine so I thought this would be a good compromise. While I like the ivory part of the valence, I found the brown polka dot pattern on the bottom looks a bit cheap (the brown is really washed out and the fabric is coarse). Since the bedding set has a lot of this polka dot material incorporated in it I decided against buying the whole set. I finally found another set on Amazon that I recently had shipped to me and I am very happy switched.
