Customer Review: Adorable, but....

I purchased this product for my grandson's bedroom. I installed it myself as his parents are in the NICU with him until he comes home.
This is a heavy, wooden plate. Much thicker than I anticipated. It does fit the light switch, but the switch itself is farther inset than on a normal switch plate. This a minor annoyance, but nonetheless an annoyance. The switch does work correctly but I get the feeling the plate will begin to show wear rather quickly from turning the switch off and on. Only time will tell on this.
The cover is absolutely adorable though, so I think the thickness can be forgiven.
