Customer Review: Best Bottle Warmer.......Period!

I have owned this bottle and have used it for my daughter for the past 6 months without a single problem. I have researched every single bottle warmer out there and I can tell you, with confidence, that this is the best you will find. The removable cooler is very convenient with the fact that you do not have to go rooting around your fridge in the middle of the night looking for the bottle, plus it holds two bottles. I use Avent and it works perfectly. It also makes it very convenient to place right in your baby's room! My sole complaint is that the nightlight is not bright enough alone. But the steps to use this are quite simple. First, fill the resevoir with the premeasured water amount, then add the bottle and just press the button to start the warming process! It's just that easy! I have left this device with my family and they have mastered this product within a few uses!
I hae noticed many gripes about this product and my response is, READ THE MANUAL!!! As long as you read and follow the instructions in the booklet, you will perfectly okay! The steps are not tricky at all, but there are a few little tips that they give you in order to keep your unit running properly.

This has been a life saver. It heats our bottles in about 2 minutes, if that.
The Pros of the warmer - It's very fast, has a on/off switch, cooler with ice pack, indicating light that lets you know when the bottle is done and heats baby food.
The Cons of the warmer
If you not careful you can get some serious burns from this thing, especially if it's 3am and your half dead and not paying attention. The steam has gotten me twice and my hubby burned himself because the bottle itself was hot (he actually got blisters)
Ours is very inconsistent and we always use exactly the same amount of water. Each time we get different results. Sometimes the bottle is so hot, you have to pick it up with a pot holder. Other times it's ice cold.
We have to check the temp. of the bottle constantly, which means I have to stand overtop of it and make sure the formula doesn't boil.
Overall, I am happy with the warmer, mainly because of how fast it is. But after both my husband and I were burned (and we got blisters) I thought it would be best to tell you guys here.
Be Careful of the steam and the actual bottle itself.

Customer Review: Great for middle of the night feedings!

My husband and I debated about whether a bottle warmer was even necessary, but in the end - I won, and this is the one I chose! This little unit is extremely handy for middle of the night feedings. I had the timing down so that the bottle would finish warming almost exactly when I would be done changing my daughter's diaper. Any amount of time that you can save in the middle of the night is worth it in my opinion. However, I also found that you have to pay attention to what kind of bottle you're trying to heat and make sure you measure the right amount of water to put in the unit, so that the bottle gets heated enough. If you set yourself up before you go to bed and fill the included water vials which attach neatly to the side, you won't have to be figuring these things out at 3 am!
Overall, we've been very happy with this unit - especially the cooler section in the back! That's another great feature that allows you to not have to make a trip to the fridge in the middle of the night!!

We didn't even register for this warmer but it was given to us as a gift anyway. Initially, during the nights, we would have to go downstairs, warm up some water in the microwave, and then stick the cold bottle in the water. This took forever to get the bottle to a comfy temperature and it was just such a hassle. Plus...we were so tired and sleepy so it was difficult. We decided to try this warmer out. After using it for the first time we fell in love. It is so easy to use and warms the bottle in about 1min. We just don't udnerstand why it has received negative reviews from friends? We bought a small fridge that we store in our laundry room. This is where we keep our baby's bottles. When we're ready to feed all we do is pour the premeasured water from the provided tubes (pkg comes with 2 tubes and there is also a chart that tells you how much water you need for a particular sized bottle) and then hit the button. It takes about a minute or so to warm up. Take the bottle out and shake it up..test the temp..perfect. No more trips downstairs...it's awesome.
The only negative thing for is that our Dr. Brown's bottle seem to leak. Just like other reviewers have mentioned, it's easily taken care of by simply warming up the bottle without the air vent tube. Also, we haven't had the opportunity to try out the cooler system. Good luck!

I wasn't overly impressed with this warmer. I started using it when my son was first born and I thought you had to do everything "by the book." It takes way too long to heat a bottle, and the outside of the bottle gets hot and the formula stays cold. After about 2 or 3 months I realized that it's OK to use the microwave. :) My son is now 11 months and has to be on formula till he is 16 months and I will continue to use the microwave. The warmer is now being stored with the rest of the useless stuff that I will be selling on ebay. Save your money.
