I love this product and highly recommend it. My son has never been very interested in tearing it off the table as some other customers noted. I keep a few mats in my purse at all times and they are great to use so that your child is not eating off of a germ filled table. And, when the meal is over, just peel off the mat with all of the crumbs in it, and, voila, the table is not a mess either. Some restaurants (like Chic-fil-a) offer these mats complimentary.Customer Review: A must-have for eating out on the town

These disposable placemats are fantastic for little ones -- at home or at a restaurant. Many other parents have seen me using them and have come up to me asking where they could get them. Not only do they provide a clean eating surface and eliminate the need for carrying around plates or bowls in the diaper bag, but feisty toddlers can't pick up the placemat and throw it on the floor. They fold up easily in the diaper bag -- I always keep them with me.Customer Review: A definite must-have!

I absolutely love these things. They are one of the best baby products ever introduced. The only thing I dislike about them is that the adhesive is only on the top and bottom. Now that my son is 14 months old, he has figured out how to grab on the sides where there is no adhesive and pull up the mat. Until he learns eat off a plate without it ending up on the floor when we go out to eat (or at home for that matter!), we will be using these.Customer Review: WooHoo!

These are awesome! I bought them at the store in a smaller package (15 or 20) & they are a must have for young children. I was always disgusted to let my child eat off of a dirty restaurant table, but if I gave him a plate he'd just throw the plate on the floor...so these are great. They may seem kind of expensive, but we don't really go out to eat that often...I am still using the same pack 6 months later. I am not a neat freak but the thought of my toddler eating of tables that look like they haven't been cleaned in who knows how long really grossed me out. We tried using plates but that is usually short lived with my son. These are the perfect solution. I always keep a few in my diaper bag. My one complaint is that out of my pack of 50, about 12 were defective and coulnd't be used. Don't know if anyone else has had this issue.
