Here we have an example of Green washing and misleading the public. Biobased products are unable to break down in landfills. Biobased products need composting conditions (heat, air, and moisture) and will only break down in a compost. I do not know of any compost that is OK for you to be feces into.If these end up in a landfill, they will last as long as a normal plastic.This is an anaerobic (airless) condition, without moisture and heat that is in a compost. So you are wasting natural resources that could be used for food on a diaper that can't break down in a landfill and should not be put into a compost. If that isn't Green washing I don't know what else to call it.
