This pillow was really helpful for learning to breastfeed properly! Before I got it, my son was getting enough to eat, but my wrist, neck and back were all suffering to accomplish this. I was trying to use a softer u-shaped pillow initially, but my son would fall down into the space and I was constantly propping pillows and blankets around us. Very frustrating! My lactation consultant suggested this pillow and I am so glad I got it. When my baby was born, I had a hard time nursing. I was tired from labor, drowsy from meds--and dreaded the late-night feedings. I was also a slow learner with breastfeeding positions. The "My Brest Friend" pillow was literally my lifesaver. When I strapped it around my waist, I could easily roll my baby in toward me, cradle her in my arms, and keep my hands relatively free to readjust her when she got unlatched. For me as a 1st-time mom who wanted to breastfeed, the "My Brest Friend" pillow was invaluable.Customer Review: Great feeding aid!

For my first son we only had the boppy. While it was great for "tummy time" activities, etc I was always frustrated whenever I tried to use it for feeding (breast or later bottle). For our second I tried a Breast friend at the lactation clinic and was hooked! No more fishing baby out of the crack between me and the boppy! It's a little combersome at first to get it on, but once it's on it feels safe and comfortable. No more straining my arms or inventing pillow contraptions to support my arm with baby.Customer Review: Love it!

I love this product for breast feeding my little one. I feel that she is safe and secure when she is on the pillow. It also puts her in the perfect position for the cross cradle hold. I couldn't use this for football hold because it was hard to turn in sideways and fit in a chair. I have recommended this product to other expecting mothers. It makes breastfeeding more comfortable. Another positive is that it is wide enough for her to fall asleep on after feeding (while still being held of course!)Customer Review: Makes breastfeeding so much easier

Breastfeeding was very difficult for me in the first few days following my son's birth, and I felt close to giving up altogether. Then my mom gave me this pillow! It doesn't take away all of the frustration, but it does make things a lot easier. The back/arm support is wonderful and so important for me, since I have sore muscles. When I'm not feeding, the pillow makes it easier to read, eat, or use my laptop, too. I'd highly recommend this to any overwhelmed breastfeeding mom.
