My wife has been using the Boppy for approximately five weeks and her back was KILLING her. As a new mom she tends to hunch over our baby as she nurses, especially at night while sitting up in bed. She also did not like that the Boppy was overly plump and lifted the baby too high up. I researched MBF online and decided nothing could be worse than what she already had so I ordered this online. She LOVES this pillow! She claims to notice the relief to her back almost immediately. I ordered the original MBF because the only difference between that and the deluxe seems to be the slipcover and I think that opening velcro after a 3AM feeding would wake the baby up. I also ordered the travel pillow to use when we take the baby to the mall and on other day trips. What a great idea!Customer Review: Excellent support for breastfeeding

I have this pillow as well as the boppy. I much prefer the Brest Friend because it offers a lot more support- the baby's head is easier to position on this pillow.. and that is essential when trying to establish a good latch. Because the base is very firm the baby's head does not roll towards me. Also, I have found this pillow useful when breastfeeding using the football hold position and pumping on the other side at the same time. The strap adjusts and fits snugly around my waist. I wish that the velcro on the strap had a cover because the part which is loose sometimes gets stuck on my clothes and that is a little annoying. I have washed the cover a couple of times and had no problems with shrinking. This is an excellent product and well worth the money.Customer Review: So far...

I haven't actually used this product with my baby yet (3 more weeks until her due date!) but I wanted to write what I have noticed so far.
The pillow says to wash the cover before using it with your baby, so I did (even though I was leary about getting the cover back *on* once I had it off--and I was right!) Be warned that the cover is not the easiest to put back on!!!
To finally get the cover back on, I had to start with the larger end, and work my way around to the skinny end. It took me awhile and was somewhat of a hassle, but I finally managed to wrestle the cover back onto the pillow, lol. It was frustrating, though.
In spite of that, I'm still looking forward to using this product when my baby gets here!

My Bradley instructor suggested this breastfeeding pillow and I have to say it was perfect for me. It stayed in the correct position throughout the feedings and was easily adjusted to different levels on my body as he grew in size and needed to be positioned differently. Those middle of the night feedings were so much easier because of all the support it provided me while I sat up in bed. I bought an extra cover so when he had big spit ups I could have one in the wash while using the other, that worked out great and the covers, I had the soft ones, handled being washed in the machine just fine. They came out looking new. I also had a Boppy, but only found it useful for tummy time for our son. It was an awful feeding pillow in my opinion.Customer Review: Love it!

Fantastic product! This is my 3rd child and the MBF Deluxe is the best nursing pillow I've had. My little one is 7 months now and she is still comfortable using it. When she was first born I would tighten the strap and buckle it but now I just wrap it around for easy use (I read some think it's too time consuming to get on - just don't buckle). The attached pocket is great for holding items like nail clippers so you can trim nails while nursing. I also read some have had trouble with shrinkage after washing - I've not had that problem(do not put in dryer per instructions) At 6 months I used it to help support her sitting on the floor and she would also use it for a little tummy time. She also likes playing with the buckles.
