this tub is super! first of all, i didn't buy this--my friend used it with her two kids and then passed it down to me to use with my little one! we've been using it with her since she was about 10 months old and she is now 26 months and we're still using it! she's not tall for her age but not short either; just average size.
we continue to use it because she loves it and it uses MUCH LESS water/time/energy than filling the whole tub. so we fill it, soap her up, drain the water, and refill to rinse her all off.
fyi: it's true the head part is huge. also true that the tail part is too big to pull it right under the tap to fill on its own. i just use our bath water pitcher to fill it in no time at all. we have a shelf up high in our shower where the tub lays on its side for storage.
i give it 5 stars since it finally got a small tear in the bottom last month, after 5+ years of use! we duck-taped the tear and the tub still works!!

We just LOVE our duckie tub! I've been using it since my son was 9 months old (because it's VERY hard to use if baby can't sit up by theirselves yet) I think it's so much safer for your baby to be in this cushioned, air tub than to be against the hard bathtub sides. You also only have to fill up a small area for bath time, and you just pull the plug when your done with it. You really don't have to deflate it...ours stays inflated, in the corner of the bathroom all the time. I also think this is a very durable product. My son has drug his duckie all around my house, and it's held up with no holes for over a year now. I actually even bought a couple more for the grandparents houses, to make bathtime safe and fun for them too!out of all the products that I've purchased for my baby since day 1, this it the one that i recommend the most!! I don't know how we would of done bathtime without it!
The ONLY con is that my son won't take a bath without it now!

We've had this tub for 5 months now (bought it when our baby was 5 months old) and we love it. The suction cup hanger worked great on the tile wall of our old house but in our new house the tile has a bit of a rough surface so the suction no longer works; now the duck just hangs out upside down in the tub - which is no problem since it's our guest bath. About 3 months ago I accidently poked a hole in it - we used the repair kit and the duck has yet to loose air. Our son loves it - he seems to like leaning back on the tub (almost looks likes he's relaxing!)while he plays with his toys. I've tried letting him sit in the big tub and he doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as the comfort of his ducky tub. In the big tub you can only fill it up with an inch or two of water - in his ducky tub, we fill it up almost all the way and make a bubble bath with his night-time soap and he just loves it. We received this bath tub as a gift when our daughter outgrew the kitchen sink (around 8 months), and now she is 15 months old and still loves it. The quacking sound attracted her right away, and now that she has really developed a fondness for bathtime she loves the duck even more. For us, it is the perfect size, certainly still big enough for a child who is 30" tall and weighs 24.5 lbs. We have had no problems so far with any punctures or deflation, and we hang it up by the tab on the tail to dry, and it is dry within 24 hours so that she can have a bath daily. It fits well in our bath tub, so we have had no problems with it rolling over or creating a hazard for her. No signs of mildew so far, either. The drain plug works really well with no leaks, and the temperature 'gauge' is a good reference point to prevent burns. overall, we have been very happy with this product and hope to keep it for our little boy on the way!Customer Review: one of our BEST baby item purchases

Due to a skin condition our son has had to have a bath nightly since he was 6 weeks old. The infant tub we had was hard to use and uncomfortable for him so we tried the duck as a less expensive alternative to buying another over priced infant tub. We LOVE this thing!!
-AMAZING for travel - just deflate, roll up and pack away. We've taken it on many flights and road trips
-held up very well to every day use. The 'squeaker' in the beak went out after about 7 months of daily use. At 11 months we are finally on our 2nd duck, but only because we did not use the patch kit included and decided to buy a fresh one.
- keeps our son safe and comfortable in his bath. one of his first words is 'duck' he loves this thing so much. Even at 22 lbs he still fits in this thing with room to play. The temperature indicator on the bottom is a good guide to ensure safe water temps every time.
