Baby Products Reviews of Munchkin Two Snack Catchers, Colors May VaryCustomer Review: Good but stiff. Summary: 4 Stars
I thought that this product was solidly made, my only concern is that the top, that allows the child to reach their hand in is a bit stiff, also add to the little rubber spines, or grips that dot the top of the container have led my daughter to have her's kind of stuck on her hand. Other than that this is great, the bottom has a thick rubber bottom so it doesnt just slide everywhere, it also weighs the bottom down to help keep it from tipping. Easy to wash and maintain.
Customer Review: Great no-mess container for toddlers Summary: 5 Stars
I've ordered 4 of these for my 20 month old son, and I've given them as gifts to friends w/ toddlers. They're great. My son can reach his hand into the container to get his snacks and when he tips it over, nothing falls out. It's great for when you're on the go in the car or out in public. I have bought the other competitor product which is just as good but not as big as these and the lids on the Munchkin snack catchers are just better. You can't miss getting these.
Customer Review: Good, could be better (with accessories) Summary: 3 Stars
Started using these with 15 month old twins, they took to them easily. As other people have noted about kids making a mess, by grabbing a handful...they do it 1) If they are not hungry anymore 2) Playing "fill and dump" (as most toddlers at this age do. I'd give it a higher rating if it had a SEALED LID! Clever idea in the picture posted...using an 8oz sour cream lid. I tried it, but not road tested it:)Now at 20 months old they haven't succeeded at taking the lid off.
Customer Review: Very nice Summary: 4 Stars
These are great for on the go snacks. They have lessened the number of spills I clean up considerably. The lid also serves as a nice "nose stopper" for our Labrador when my son leaves his snacks on the coffee table and walks away.
My only fault on this is that it seems my son has trouble now with the larger cereal items since he's grown a bit. His bigger hands + larger snacks makes it a bit tight in there.
Other than that I highly recommend!
Customer Review: Wouldn't buy anymore Summary: 2 Stars
These are just okay. My daughter is 9 months old and I don't let her use them because when she grabs onto the top it folds in the lid and then she shakes the cup and the Kix or Cheerios go flying everywhere. She did this once and thought it was hilarious so now she always does it. I stick to using a little cup with a snap-on lid. Really, when are you not around when your kid is eating for them to need this?
I would save your money and not buy these.
