Customer Review: Not great, but I found another way to install it

My old Munchkin mirror (the kind with the suction cup and telescopic pole) broke when I was moving it to a new car. To me that was the best one they ever made as it was much more versatile in the possible installations. But I decided to give this one a try (especially since it was Amazon Prime eligible.)
It wasn't really clear in the description how it attached so I was frustrated when opening the package to see it used velcro. I was also frustrated to discover I couldn't attach it so that it would rest ABOVE my car's rearview mirror while still giving the proper viewing angle to see the kids (the front seats in my car are rather tall so I wanted this mirror as high as possible to get the best viewing angle of them.) This isn't necessarily a shortcoming of the mirror itself as it's a tight angle that will vary by car; although this was easily possible with the older suction cup mirror. But then it occurred to me that because it was velcro I could simply attach the mirror directly to the ceiling liner. I did that and now have the perfect angle for what I want.
I haven't had a chance to do any longterm testing with it yet, but unless I update this review assume it held on fairly well. As stated in other reviews this isn't a glass mirror but simply a reflective sticker on plastic so it doesn't weigh much.
