The spinning part of the handle was kinda hard for my son at first (1.5year old), but the end knob also spins so I remedied a major melt down of "I CANT DO IT!" with just spin the knob instead of turning the whole thing. Love that the fish,crab and star are bath squiters too! Great bath toy for those parents who want to minimize the amount of clutter around the house. We have this and bath cups and thats it for bath time toys. Keeps the area clean and clutter free.
The magnets are decently strong but sometimes if the fish are completely full of water the pole drops them.
The fishing line part of the pole is flexible yet firm, making the wormy hook easy for young kids to catch the fish.
I will definately be giving this toy for gifts.
