I agree, some of these reviews are a bit misleading. The seat is very cushy - more so than others we tried, and my daughter loves it. My son liked it too, but as noted in other reviews, with no splash guard it really does not work well for boys. It also can slide around a bit, but most of the seats do anyway as I have found. I really was hoping this would work for us. I have a very petite little girl. It fits her fine, but the underside catches her urine everytime she uses it. When you remove the seat from the toilet, the urine drips all over the place. Let's not even talk about the smell, it's impossible to clean! I've tried! my 2 1/2 year was interested in this seat right away, much more so than his small potty. However, he cries every time because the small bump in the front is not sufficient enough of a splash guard. He gets wet, the floor and his step stool are all wet. Clean up is a nightmare. It's in the trash now.

This seat is awful for boys! The splashguard works okay for my son, but if pee runs under the seat it gets trapped in the rim. The rim parts don't come off and you can try to rinse under them, but they don't drain. It's disgusting!Customer Review: Pee Catcher!

I am a family childcare provider and I am definitely replacing this. It doesn't matter if a girl or boy uses it - when I pick it up it is dripping pee, nearly every single time. It's gross and unsanitary!
