Customer Review: Don't Bother Buying This!!!

I bought this bottle warmer to use for my in-home daycare. I liked the fact that it would fit any size bottle. I tried using it for a few weeks and finally ended up puting it with my rummage sale items. First off it's totally inconvenient to use if you don't have it set up by a water source as you have to put water in it every time you use it. Next, it makes the bottle burning hot almost every time and causes condensation on some bottles, such as the playtex vent-air and disposable bottles; so when you take the bottle out of the warmer they drip scalding hot water from the bottom of the bottles. Last, I experienced whether you use distilled or tap water in the warmer after a few times it burns the minerals in the water causing a disgusting brown film around the inside bottom of the warmer and emits a nasty burning smell while it is warming the bottles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BABY ITEM, IT'S DEFINETLY NOT A MUST HAVE.Customer Review: Great Item Reasonable Price

Works beautifully and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Looks great and takes up less counter or dresser-top space than others we looked at, too.
Will work with Avent, Playtex, Medela and Evenflo bottles. Those are the only ones we've tried so far; we are trying to get our breastfed baby to accept an occasional bottle after I express and store/refrigerate my milk and so far haven't found the right bottle and nipple combo he likes, but will keep trying!
Warms evenly, once you figure out the right water amount for the type of bottle. Never leave the bottle in longer than the instructions recommend--the package insert warns against this practice and says it will make the temperature hotter the longer you leave the bottle in. A beeping sound tells you when the bottle is warm.

I got this warmer as a baby shower gift when our first child was born over 3 years ago. I used it for him for both bottles and baby food. Once I no longer needed it for him, I stored it for our next child. I have been using it for our second child since he was born 5 months ago, and it still works just as good as it did 3 years ago. It always warms the bottle just right (you do have to figure out how much water you need to put in it...I adjusted a bit from the lines on the water thing that is provided to get it just right). It shuts off as soon as the water is completely condensed out of the unit. It is perfect for middle of the night feedings, and also feedings throughout the day. Warms a bottle from both room temp and refrigerated. I would definitely purchase this product again. I am a stay at home dad and will only put up with things that work. This one works very well. You want it warmer, you add more water next time. You want it cooler, you add less. A monkey could not mess this one up.
I cannot understand the negative rankings. Easy to use, easy to clean! If some junk gets in it, fill it up with some water and heat it, swirl it around and wipe it with a paper towel. It takes 20 seconds!
Whoever said it does not shut off automatically is wrong. The burner will stay warm after you use it. Just like a stove does. But it DOES shut off. I leave mine plugged in all day everday. Only an idiot would leave a bottle on the warmer for more than 15 minutes anyway. What the heck are you heating it for, if you are not going to use it? Sheesh.
Get this one. It is inexpensive and it works. Bottom line.

We purchased the Munchkin Deluxe Bottle and Food Warmer with Pacifier Cleaning Basket from our local store.
We use the Playtex disposable liner bottles and refrigerated formula. We have had to adjust up and down the amount of water we put in this warmer to get a proper temperature. It often is either too hot, or if it is too cold and we re-run the cycle with a little more water, we wind up too hot.
This beats wasting a bunch of water to get it heated up for bottle warming although we were able to get the temp we wanted first time out using that method. This warmer IS safer than dealing with the microwave. I like the auto-off and the finished beeps.
I give a lukewarm (pardon the pun) recommendation on this product. You need to have patience to be able to live with it.
