I debated over and over again if we should get one of these for our car seat. We had cloth interior and we were worried about stains and general mess in the seat as well as indentions from the pressure of the seat being strapped in.
Overall it has worked pretty well. It catches a lot of food and juice that might spill and I am sure it has had an impact on keeping it from making deep indentions in the seat. Though I feel it could have been a tad bit thicker to really help in that department.
Overall be it this product or another similar, I highly recomened this for anyone with a car seat to protect your car and make things easy to clean up.

I really like this product. For the price, it does its job... protecting the leather seats. My son's feet were always propped up on the leather seats, while in his booster seat. The tan leather in our van shows dirt easily. With this product, the feet are on the seat protector now. It's even got nice front pocket for all the little things your little one may collect. You could put a pack of wipes or tissue in the front pocket for a quick wipe of either the seat, or your child. The quality is really more than I expected for the price. We keep a carseat in our car for our grandson, but we noticed our leather seats were straining under the weight and pressure of the seat/child. With the purchase of a new carseat we decided to buy the seat protector. It has only recently been installed so the verdict is not in as to its ability to truly protect the seats from cracking or tearing. I do like the pockets in front for storage of handwipes or tissues. The protector helps with spills and crumbs. The quality is good and the price is right.

This is a must have, whether you have cloth or leather seats. It does a fabulous job protecting your seats from "permanent" damage due to your childs car seat. I have never used the front storage area, but as far as a seat protector goes I think this one is the best. I also have the Eddie Bauer Seat Protector, but I perfer this one, it is thicker and the cut outs where the seat belt snaps are deeper, which makes it easier to click in your little guy.Customer Review: Eh...it's okay...

I bought this with the expectation that it would protect my leather seats. My leather backseats (light gray leather is not a good color) ended up discolored by the mat on this product.
Fortunately, it did protect from other markings and scratches and I was able to clean my seats well enough. If you have cloth backseats, this would be an ideal solution for protection, but I think overall this product and others like it might be overrated.
