Customer Review: I'm picky about my infant spoons, and these are GREAT

I spent forever finding the right spoon for my kids. I finally found one that was broader and flatter and fit well into my kids' mouths. While this spoon is a bit deeper and more narrow, it has good give and the food ends up in their mouth and not still on the spoon. I also love the colors...they are bright and happy. MY ONLY WARNING though, is to avoid putting these in the utencil rack in the dishwasher. They melt easily. I have lost half of my spoons that way. Be sure to keep them in a basket on the top rack and you'll be fine.
EDIT- I have now lost 5 of the 6 spoons and had to order another set. I clearly didn't heed my own warning closely enough. As long as they are on the top rack, we're fine.

The Munchkin infant spoons are a good value and great for travelling. They are lightweight and ergonomically designed. The main selling point is that they are so inexpensive...if you lose one it's not a big deal. My daughter has her "fancy" crystal spoons for home use and we take these in her diaper bag for restaurant eating and trips to grandmas, etc. The only reason I didn't give these five stars is because the spoons are made of plastic and are therefore really flimsy. If my daughter grabs hold of the spoon while I'm feeding her, it will bend and fling food across the room. Not exactly a good thing!!! Otherwise, a good economical choice particularly if you want something that is semi-disposable. :)Customer Review: Perfect!!

I bought these for my son about three months ago, and they work great! I didn't spend money on "first-time" spoons or smaller ones that I would just have to replace after a few months when he could handle bigger spoons. Yes, they are a little deeper than "first time" spoons, but he never had a problem getting all of the food out of them. They are soft enough that my son can chew on them and they won't hurt his mouth but strong enough that they haven't lost their shape from going through the dishwasher or being played with by my son. I also love the price for six spoons! I don't need twenty spoons, but three is not enough either; six is a perfect number and the price is very affordable.Customer Review: Colorful and Convenient...

I bought my first pack of Munchkin spoons at a store because they caught my eye and I generally like Munchkin products.
I bought this second pack because my little guy likes to hold on to at least one during meals as well he uses them as drumsticks on his toys, so I always felt in short supply.
The only con really is the handle. While it is a great length and I like its size for gripping, its uneven weight distribution with the rest of the spoon has caused it to tip out of many a bowl of food, often flinging food to the table or floor.
Solved that problem by not resting it in the bowls anymore.
Overall, would recommend to a friend.

I bought these because of the bright colors and long handles. I like the deeper bowls but find them to be a bit messier than the spoons with more shallow bowls. I am guessing that as my daughter gets older, she'll have an easier time eating with them. Or maybe she's just a messy sort of eater. The mess is a small issue, though, because these spoons are otherwise great and clean up easily and well. I have a set of the temperature-sensitive spoons and the covers are stained after not even two months of use. My daughter likes the colors and at 6 months was wanting to feed herself with them. These spoons are a great buy for the money and i recommend them to anyone.
