Customer Review: Innovative and yet so obvious...

I had previously seen the snack holders with the plastic star-pattern lids, and they didn't seem quite optimal, so I bought a couple of these cups for 2 sets of friends after reading the glowing reviews. The kids are a little young (two are 16 months, one is 23 months) to have taken full advantage of the obvious cleverness of this cup (at first it was irresistible to pull the Cheerios out, one at a time, and drop them on the floor), but once they got it, both parents and kids were hooked. It goes in the dishwasher with no adverse effects. The fish icons are a hit with the older one.
Some reviewers claimed it seemed "handmade" but I didn't find it so. If there's anything handmade about it, it's very well-crafted. Useful, clever, and made in the US!
Hint to friends / grandparents who want to buy toys and other neat tchotchkes for someone else's munchkins: Since it's a little on the pricey side, it makes a good gift.
