Customer Review: must-have for baby-proofing

This product is a must-have if you need to baby-proof a house. Much more convenient than the simple plastic plugs you can stick in outlets. You can plug and unplug as needed without needing a screwdriver to remove stuck plugs. The spring loaded mechanism is pretty tight making it very hard for an inventive and strong toddler to slide the cover aside. Even if the toddler is capable of that, it would not leave a free hand to actually stick anything in at the same time. With the cover on it is impossible to stick anything in.
To install, just replace the face plate of the outlets with these. They cover the original outlets, so no rewiring is needed. Screws are supplied in case the original screws are too short to accommodate the slightly thicker plates.
There are some flimsy competitive products out there. So I made sure to get sturdy ones. These are pretty sturdy, allowing you to screw them on real tight without cracking or even bending them.
