My parents are both 89 years old, and I was going to pay someone to install metal safety bars in their shower before I saw this product. I ordered the 24" model for the side shower wall and the 11.5" model which I installed on the front (shower head) wall to help get in and out of the shower. I tried them in my own shower for two weeks to test them, and they stuck like glue. Follow the instructions, clean the tiles with alcohol and do not install over a grout line. You will have to try different angles and locations to find the tiles that the suction cups will center on and not be on a grout line. You must have at least 4" tile that has a smooth non-textured surface. I am extemely pleased with these products because they are excellent for steadying and maintaining your balance in a wet, slippery shower.
