This little light glows green, red, or blue or cycles through a rainbow effect. The only problem was that the first one I got only glowed green or blue, not red. I contacted the company and they sent a new one out right away. The customer service was very friendly and very prompt. The new one works perfectly and my daughter (almost 2) really likes pushing the button to cycle through the colors of light. She's more interested in this as a toy, however, as opposed to a night light. It's a little distracting for bed time. It will probably be better when she's a little older. For the younger crowd, I would probably stick to a more traditional night light.Customer Review: Good alternative to a traditional nightlight

Have used this for a few weeks now. Its soft glow illuminates my son's room at night. The light is softer and less harsh than a regular nightlight. It is cool to the touch so it won't burn hands when touched. It alternates between blue, green, purple, and red. You can choose single colors of have it cycle through them.
When taken off the base it will give off the pleasing light for hours. I know my son loves it, and often asks to have it in bed with him. He also likes to choose the colors. His favorite is green, but he also likes blue.
It's a fun little light to have for a small child, and they'll really love it.

We got this for our 22 month old who has just switched to a twin bed.
Good:
I do love that you can change the colors - especially the rainbow feature.
My daughter loves to change the colors and it's easy enough for her to do it.
It's easy for her to handle and cool to the touch.
Easy to set on the base and charge.
Battery does last a long time.
Bright enough to read books with all other lights off.
Bad:
It's REALLY bright. I really wish there were at least one other brightness setting. We have to block half of the light (usually by a pillow) coming out otherwise it's just insane.
I really wish there were just a few more color choices you could set it on. Blue, green, and red are great, don't get me wrong, but I wish that you could set it on purple or pink as well. Just my opinion.

It stopped working within one week
Wanted to use as fun night light for toddler but it just stopped working
It is a softer hard rubber, looks cute and lovely colour changes etc.
Too bad it was not durable
If they fix that problem, this could be nice
Perhaps I just got a"lemon"
One can take a chance as Amazon has a brilliant return/refund
But it HAS to be Amazon for the excellent return policy
In over 6 years we've NEVER had a problem and we order ALL the time

My 3 year old never has used a nightlight, but she got to where she wanted to stay up and read a book or write on her magna-doodle after bedtime and how can I say no to reading and writing!! So I bought this so she could do it in bed after bedtime without needing the light on. Works exactly as described. My only complaint (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is there is only one color that works with the 15 minute timer. All of the other colors stay on all night unless you push the button to turn it off. It's rechargable thank goodness so at least I am not going through batteries, but I still wish other colors could be timered. I even use it at night if she is sick and I want to check her temp or give her meds. That way I don't have to turn the light on and wake her up. Highly recommend this rechargable one over the battery operated one. Worth the extra $!!!
