Customer Review: New Parent's Life Saver!!

I'm a first time parent and these two products were lent to me by a girlfriend when my 3 month old was driving us insane. They were absolute lifesavers! Don't believe anyone when they say their baby doesn't like swaddling. You just need the miracle blanket and Dr. Karp's instructions on the 5 S's. The blanket is like a baby straight jacket, so it's a little intimidating the first time you see it, but once you see the effects you forget about it. I love that it's light weight, we used it in the summer in AZ and just had him in a diaper underneath. I bought this for 4 other friends that have had babies recently and they all love both products. Dr. Karp's methods are really useful, but don't let them get you into a trap of having the baby NEED all the props and methods to be comfortable. Once they get older, around 3 months, they need to learn how to self sooth. We were trapped with a baby who needs the swing and pacifier to sleep, something we'll do differently next time. That being said the 5's are a must for a newborn when you need some sanity.
