Customer Review: Failed to see the miracle

This is the most expensive swaddling aid we've bought and yet we failed to see the guaranteed miracle results.
#1 - it's very big on our 1 month old and no matter how tightly we wrapped, there was always loose pockets somewhere
#2 - although not rocket-science-complicated, it is not exactly the easiest thing either to put on your baby, especially with the last band that goes around & around
#3 - it's made of a cheap jersey fabric (not worth the price of $25 we paid for the product)
#4 - did not keep our fussy baby from startling herself awake any better than the other velco swaddling aides out there

I received this blanket from some relatives for my baby shower. I took one look at it and thought they were crazy. There was no way my baby was going in that thing! When my son was about a month old, however, my husband and I were desperate for sleep, so we decided to give it a try. What a miracle! The other reviews have just about said it all as far as how wonderful it is, but I would like to add one thing. When he started to outgrow it, we loosened it a little bit at a time. I think this was very effective. We basically weaned him off of it so that it wasn't so hard for him to fall asleep without it. Great product!Customer Review: Expensive, but worth it!

I had bought a few Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe blankets for my first child & they never worked well for me. I wish I spent the extra money to buy this instead. It worked so well, my 2nd baby slept for long stretches right away. The concept is simple - the baby's weight holds the swaddle in place. There are two flaps that you fold over each arm and tuck under the baby's back. The longest flap gets wrapped around the baby a couple of times so it won't budge. The baby loved it and it really helped him fall asleep and stay asleep. I still use it from time to time without the leg pouch since he's long outgrown it.Customer Review: Buy Two!

I LOVE this blanket. I didn't have it for my first child but wish I did. Once I started using this on my daughter, like everyone says, she was sleeping 9-12 hour stretches at about 3-4 weeks old. We went on vacation when she was about 4 months old. I had to throw it in the washer the morning we were leaving and forgot to get it out of the dryer. Biggest regret of the vacation - hence, get two! Also, like everyone else, I am bummed it doesn't come in a larger size, but I suppose that is physiological and not the manufacturer's fault!Customer Review: Truly a Miracle Blanket!!

I bought this blanket for a friend who is having a little girl. This is now my "go to" shower gift! I bought one for my 5 week old son who was only sleeping 2 hours at a time. As soon as I started swaddling him in the miracle blanket, his sleep increased to 4-5 hours at a time! He's 4 months old now & we're still using the blanket. In fact, when he sees it, he starts smiling! He loves getting wrapped up at night. Once I wrap him, he falls asleep in 5-10 minutes. This is a must have for babies that have difficulity sleeping.
