Customer Review: Keeps Even My Little Houdini Swaddled
Summary: 5 Stars

Amazing. My little girl (9 weeks old) has been staying swaddled and sleeping 6-9 hours since we started using the Miracle Blanket about a week ago. We had used receiving blankets, Kiddopotamus SwaddleMes, Aden + Anais swaddling blankets, SwaddleDesigns blankets, etc., using various methods, and nothing could hold her. Without fail she would work free at least one arm. And of course she would wake herself up. But she cannot get out of this one!

> easy to get on - no complicated method to remember in the middle of the night
> goes on quick - important when dealing with a squirmer
> holds her arms straight down at her sides (a la Happiest Baby on the Block)
> legs can move but don't escape the sack - keeps the feet warm
> my baby sleeps more peacefully and sleeps longer

Love this product and would definitely recommend trying it if you have a Houdini of your own.

Customer Review: Truly a Miracle
Summary: 5 Stars

My pediatrician suggested I use a swaddling blanket to help my infant sleep for longer durations. I tried a few that I bought at Target, but they were too large, or too loose - and had velcro on the sides. I searched the Internet and found out about the Miracle Blanket - but was reluctant to spend $30 at first. Finally, I went ahead and purchased this blanket. It is truly amazing. The design is genius. My wiggly little 6-week-old infant cannot escape it! She is so content in it - she sleeps 5 to 6 hours at a time. The fabric is soft and natural, so it breathes. It's not thick - but jersy-like cotton, so it doesn't make her get overheated. And, best of all, it has no velcro and still manages to hold her securely without that awful velcro "ripping" sound when I take her out of the blanket. It's well worth the price... In fact, buy 2 or 3 because you will need one handy everytime you put the baby down.

Customer Review: Best for my little girl
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this as a shower gift and was hesitant on using it...didn't want our baby to get too used to it. Well, after having a few nights of her not sleeping we tried it out and it does wonders. It is amazing how she will go from cranky and hysterical to calm and relaxed once you put the swaddle on. She only wakes up once a night for a diaper change and a quick bottle and goes straight back to sleep. This is the best way to keep her warm during the cold nights without having to worry about suffocating her with a blanket. I actually am on here to buy my second one so I have a back up when one is being washed. They are a little on the expensive side but like other reviews are saying it is well worth the money. You cannot put a price tag on peace of mind and a good nights rest. The only negative thing I can think of is how it isn't very convenient during those middle of the night diaper changes.

Customer Review: Insanely overpriced for such basic use

One of my first jobs as a teenager was at Taco Bell one of my duties in the kitchen was to learn to make a burrito. When my son was born, the first night at the hospital I was having a hard time getting him to stay put so I could feed him. I called the nurse in and she wrapped him in just the same technique. I asked her to show me and as she proceded to, I laughed and said, "Oh, I get it, like a burrito!" She laughed and said, "yes, just like a burrito." It's quite simple and just the images supplied on here are enough for you to learn to do this wrap with any nursing blanket. I find it ridiculous to pay so much money for something you can simply learn from a nurse at the hospital or at Taco Bell. Save your money get the blankets similar to the ones used in the hospital and wrap your kid in that. Just remember to do it tight enough for him/her to not be able to move it's little arms out of it.

Customer Review: Truly a miracle.

This product is on our list of "must-haves". I've tried a million different methods of swaddling with a regular blanket but after an hour (at most!) our son wriggled his way out of it. And once their arms are out, they wake themselves up constantly.

Swaddled in this blanket he's never gotten his arms out, even though it's not wrapped overly tightly. And since their legs can be wrapped in our not, it helps with babies that get too hot or too cold.

The "miracle" of this blanket is two extra pieces of material inside that go over their arms and then under their backs. Having seen this I tried doing it with a regular blanket with some success, but it's just never quite right.

So cry once and spend the $$. Yes, it's a little expensive for such a small amount of fabric but inovation isn't always cheap -- and in this case, it's worth it.
