I think this is a wonderful idea. However, it did not work for us. My son was somehow still able to wiggle his arm free, although I had followed all the directions and was using it properly. Maybe he is too big for it. I purchased the beige one. I guess I was expecting the fabric to be stretchier than it was. It felt like linen or canvas to me. It would probably be great for babies who don't move too much yet, maybe under 3months old.Customer Review: Too many steps & dangerous

I read all the good reviews and bought this miracle blanket for my 8 weeks baby. It was too many steps to swaddle the baby, and almost impossible to swaddle a cranky baby. My daughter did like it once she was swaddled, but in the morning when she was crying & kicking, the longer side of the wrap was wrapped around her neck, and her legs were already out. Dangerous!! I don't know why others like it so much, but it did not work for me.Customer Review: I love this blanket

My husband and I love this blanket. It is our third. The company clearly continues to improve it, as each one we own is slightly different. They are all excellent. We bought this one for our second child, who loves to be swaddled. I bought a cheaper one with velcro when our other two Miracle Blankets were dirty and did not like it as much. He also grew out of it in a week or two. Can't beat Miracle blankets!Customer Review: A Must Have

The Miracle Blanket is the only swaddler that my baby cannot wiggle out of. She is three months now, sleeps 7+ hours a night tightly bundled in her Miracle Blanket (for naps, too). When we try to put her down without it, she will not sleep nearly as well - if at all. We bought three and will continue to swaddle her until she is ready to sleep without it.

I read a small blurb about this product in Baby 411. We had great success with the Miracle Blanket after our little one became an escape artist at 4 weeks. It was a great relief to swaddle him in something I knew wasn't a SIDS risk. Once he was 5 months old, it got too small and he got to the point he could roll over both ways; we stopped the swaddle at that point and he's still sleeping great at 10 months.
