I just received this pump after trying to pump manually and this little pump is SO great! I tried so many times to manually pump and it is extremely tiring and I was only getting 2 ounces total from both sides! This pump works wonderfully and is very quiet, comfortable, and affordable! I got 4 ounces out of one side the very first time I used it! I also really like that it allows you to discreetly pump because it's so small and very easy to hide (large hamburger size). I would highly recommend this to someone who pumps every so often like myself. It's great to take on trips too as it works very well on batteries! Customer Review: Basic but Perfect

After renting an industrial/hospital pump (Symphony) for the first month after birth, we had low expectations for the Medela Swing Pump we purchased. We were pleasantly surprised at it's great functionality. The pumping power is actually comparable to the commercial pump, and it has a wide range of suction power. Also love that it works on either AC power or batteries. The only down side is that we had a double pump before, so it was more efficient to do both sides at once. After trying multiple cheaper breastpumps I finally broke down and spent the extra money on this one and so far I absolutely love this little pump. I am in the military so the small size is perfect as I can't carry a large bag in uniform. The pump is so light weight that I was a little worried about the quality at first but after using it for awhile it seems pretty durable. I am easily able to get about 6 oz in a very short time where as with other pumps it would take about 20 mins just to get about 4 oz, this one takes about 5 mins. I would highly recommend this pump for anyone who needs a quality pump to use everyday without the 300$+ price or the bulkiness of other pumps. Thank you Medela for this great little pump.
