Wish I knew about these from day one. So much more comfortable. They are softer just like they state. Here is a hint. Cones should cover your entire Areola. That is why there are different sizes on the market measured in mm. So, measure yours before you buy cones. These are a standard 24-mm. These could hurt you if you are much bigger. If you are bigger then get the size that fits you. For now I am unaware of a larger size that is also Soft Fit. I would highly recommend these. I was a full time pumper so I ordered many of these for ease during the day. I only wore through a few. Which is totally expected considering how much I was pumping. If you get a worn spot on the soft portion pay attention and replace if it breaks through. This will affect your suction. You will enjoy these.Customer Review: Love-hate relationship

Great product overall, but with the soft cup comes the tendency to warp or misshapen, at which point it becomes essentially useless. Unfortunately this seems to happen more quickly than I would like, but I'm not sure if that is because of the way I hold it when pumping (I use a Harmony hand pump). I almost prefer one of the hard breast shields but for some reason I can't find those in Medium. Anyhow, love it before it warps, hate it when it does. With my first child, I used the Ameda Purely Yours pump, which has all hard parts. I now have another child who refuses to latch, so I needed a more powerful pump and opted for the Medela Freestyle pump, which came with these shields. Pumping was immediately painful and I ended up with bleeding, cracked nipples.
I switched back to the Ameda and purchased, upon the advice of a lactation consultant, the hard Medela shields in size 27mm.
I have relatively small nipples that aren't flat, but aren't huge. The 27mm doesn't hurt, but it does weigh me down a lot and seems to be too large, so I am going to try the 24mm in the hard plastic. I also noticed with both the softfit shields and the hard 27mm shields, I am getting more clogged ducts. I hope this will be resolved with the 24mm.
In short, although I'm not positive this is the cause, if you have inverted or flat-ish nipples, I would avoid these shields.

Its a comfortable breastshield. I have the Medela Swing and it works fine. My only problem with it is that it tends to warp since it is soft, so you would need to replace them more often. Shopping with Amazon is great! I received the product within about 2 days.Customer Review: Works well

My first set warped when I sterilized them in the micro-steamer bag too many times... they turned yellow and started flaking. Make sure you hand wash or use the wipes.
