only reason i give it a 3 star is because of the few number of bottles etc. that fit in there. It does the job quickly and easily, but I got tired of the number of times I had to sterilize so I bought the avent microwave sterilizer instead. It fits A LOT more bottles and accessories per sterilization and takes 2 minutes in the microwave, and you don't have to dispose it after 20 uses like the medela bags. The bags are a great product for travelling however.Customer Review: Excellent sterilizing tool

These Quick Clean bags can be used and reused. They are excellent for sterilizing breastmilk pumping supplies easily and on the go, like at work. Also, I live in a pretty small space and don't have the room for other products for sterilization. I love this! Do be careful with it though. The steam spout has sufficient warnings, but I did end up giving myself a first degree burn with the steam. Use pot holders when taking this out of the microwave!Customer Review: Still have to wash

I bought these under the impression that I could use them instead of washing my pump parts in the sink, but upon reading the instructions (when our hot water heater had gone out) the first step is to wash the parts in warm soapy water. Also, if you have a Medela pump that has a "soft fit" breast shield, you cannot use these bags for that shield, so you would still need to boil water or sanitize in the dishwasher, defeating the purpose of this product.Customer Review: Very convenient but probably not necessary

I bought these when I thought I needed to sterilize pump parts all the time, which terms out to be an overkill. All the lactation specialists I've spoken to say you really don't have to sterilize them after the first time but I still try to at least once a week or so. These bags make it super easy. Just be careful not to burn yourself with the steam or water that may come out of the vent on the side of the bag.Customer Review: Great for quick cleans

I only occasionally feed my baby, and my apartment doesn't have a dishwasher. I usually decide right before going out that I want to take a bottle, so this disinfects everything really quick - in 3 minutes. As opposed to boiling it in a pot of water for 20 minutes. ANd I don't use it every days, so I don't see the point in keeping everything sterlized cuz I would have to sterilize it again right before using.
