Customer Review: Replacement tubing can save you so much money

When my previous tubing for my $300+ breast pump got dirty and I needed to replace it so I could use with my second son, instead of having to replace the entire pump I was so thankful for the option to just replace the tubing. Has worked great! Be sure to boil for 10 minutes before you use. Also after pumping let the pump run through the tubing to get out any moisture to insure their longevity and keep them clean.Customer Review: call medela!

I went to the Medela website and emailed them for new tubing and in two days received an email that it was on it's way to Alaska! I got my pump used, shhhhh, but I didn't tell them that. Some stuff is just common sense when it says right in the paperwork or anywhere else that it is a one person product and that getting it second hand voids the warranty. It's a liability thing. Once again Amazon has disappointed me with their suppliers. These tubes arrived in seperate envelopes, the envelopes looked like they were taken out of the trash and taped together. When I opened the envelopes the tubes were shoved in and kinked. The one tube was dirty like it had been used. What gives? I am not putting these tubes anywhere near my childs food source. UGH!!!

I just called, Aug 10 2010, and Medela is sending them to me for free. I just told them I accidently melted them in the microwave, which is true. I must say, thank you Amazon for leaving these posts and letting me find out about getting them for free. I have the Medula Pump in Style Advance and I love it. My only issue is that my tubing gets damp and so I ordered 2 extra sets and they work great. I would recommend that everyone using a pump have at least 2 sets of tubing and this product work great and is exactly like the tubing that came with my pump.
