Baby Products Reviews of Medela Disposable Nursing Bra Pads - 60-pk.Customer Review: What's the most absorbent pad? Summary: 3 Stars
I don't know about the rest of you, but when my milk came in I was continually drenched. I tried reusable pads and those just got soaked and my top would get wet. I tried johnson & johnson which was a waste of money, evenflow I leaked everywhere, even the Medela didn't keep me from leaking. I've only found 2 brands that I will ever buy again. Gerber Heavy Flow or Lansinoh, I can at least go for 2-3 hours before I have to replace them. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night soaked. This is just information that I wish I would have known before I tried every brand on the market.
Customer Review: One of the better pads on the market Summary: 4 Stars
I like these pads because they are very absorant and do not show through my clothes. They also leave my skin very dry which is very important for keeping healthy nipples. However, during breastfeeding I have to be careful in folding them in my bra in order to reuse them once I am done, if I don't I have to use new ones because they become all wrinkled and useless. For that reason I use these only during the day. At night I use Lansinoh pads, they are bigger and more absorbant than these and I can still reuse them even when I mistreat them during feeding.
Customer Review: Lansinoh is better Summary: 2 Stars
PROS
I've never leaked.
It's really thin.
CONS
It feels like plastic.
It does not allow my skin to breathe and make my breasts really itchy.
It won't stick to your bra. The small sticky tab doesn't do much.
It stinks at the end of the day.
Yellow powder gets on your fingers if you open the wrapper wrong.
Lansinoh has two sticky tabs that work. And it doesn't make my breasts itchy or sweaty. And their wrappers do not have any weird coloring on it.
Customer Review: Love These Bra Pads! Summary: 4 Stars
As a first time breastfeeder I didn't realize how much I would leak. After trying reusable cotton pads and Johnson & Johnson pads, I was frustrated that I couldnt wear a shirt without looking like I had lumpy breasts due to the pads. These Medela breast pads are wonderful because I can wear a tighter fitting shirt without advertising I'm wearing the pads! Also, the other kinds didn't hold much milk and I would wake up at night having to change my shirt. The Medela pads are comfortable, discreet, and absorbant.
Customer Review: No more embarrassing leaks! Summary: 4 Stars
I am in love with these Madela breast pads. I am a first time mom and I wasn't too sure about breastfeeding products. I tried the Evenflo breast pads and the washable pads. To my surprise I constantly had huge wet and embarrassing rings on my shirts. A family member suggested the Medela breast pads to me and I think they are awesome. They absorb everything; even in the middle of the night when my flow is the heaviest. I can't say enough about this product. It is definately a must buy for all breastfeeding mothers.
