Baby Products Reviews of Medela Disposable Nursing Bra Pads - 60-pk.

Customer Review: Pretty Good Stuff(ing)
Summary: 5 Stars

I was completely a Johnson & Johnson Ultra Nursing Pad woman for my first two kids (I HAD to be!), but saw this product and thought I'd try them this third time around, expecting that I wouldn't like them as well as the old J&J's. I am sold! If you need to order them, I'd say this is a good investment--easy to store, and when you're traveling, you just grab a handful and toss them in your suitcase, since they're individually wrapped and take up almost no room. Plus, they're extra thin, something the Ultras certainly can't boast. I suspect that stuffing one or two in the diaper bag might also help during diaper disaster issues...

Customer Review: My wife prefers them...
Summary: 4 Stars

All I can say about this product is the following:

- my wife received them for a baby shower gift, among other brands
- my wife is almost out of them, our child is 2.5 months old (box of 60)
- my wife is asking me to reorder these pads because she likes them and they worked as advertised

It's a matter of personal preference for most, and I'm sure different situations call for different pads (performance, fit, comfort, etc) but my wife likes them and wants more, so I will give it 4 stars. They aren't perfect, but they're the best that she has tried (we received a few different types as gifts).

Customer Review: Best pads that I've tried.
Summary: 5 Stars

I've never once leaked in these pads. I've leaked heavily in all others that I've tried. These always feel dry against my skin and are very thin. These are the only pads that I've tried that you cannot detect through my clothing. I have no problems with bunching if I remove the pad before opening the flap on my bra. If you keep taking them in and out repeatedly, the stick on the back will lose it's grip, but that's true of any light adhesive. I let down too much to wear them between multiple feedings anyway. I also like that they're individually wrapped. It's great to just drop them in the diaper bag or my purse.

Customer Review: These are 5 Stars

I have to say I thought the washables would be better but these were so good I never even bothered to use the washables, and returned them to the store. These don't leak a bit, not even at night when engorgement is at it's worst. These can be worn for several hours and when they come off, if you've been leaking alot, they look like a diaper a toddler has been wearing all day, completely full but never leak a drop. I'll definitely buy these as shower gifts for everyone in the future. Don't bother trying anything else, it would just be a waste of money. They are a great product, couldn't have designed them better myself.

Customer Review: Nursing Baby #4 -- and wish I'd had these sooner!
Summary: 5 Stars

I received a sample of these Medela nursing pads at the hospital after I had my baby. With all my other babies I've used Curity pads because I'm one of those moms that could "feed the nursery"... in other words, I leak a lot. I really liked the Curity pads until I tried Medela's new ones. These are great! Highly absorbent, no wetness on the skin, comfortable, and you can wear them so much longer than the other pads on the market. They are much more pricy - my only negative comment - but I think I'd go through 2 or more of another brands pads to one of these thus making them worth it to me.
