I love these bottles since they fit perfectly with my advanced pump and style breast pumps. the nipples and cap fit right in with the bottles that came with the package and also with other pump storage bottles. They are just like any other cheap plastic bottle. There are other BPA-free bottles I think work better. Dr. Brown's fit onto the Medela pumps just fine and they have a vent for your baby so the nipple doesn't collapse when he/she is trying to feed. Nothing special about these. I like these bottles for use at home, but they are too short and fat to fit in the top compartment of my Medela breast pump back pack. When I go to work, I use the pump twice during the day so I like to carry 4 bottles. The old, more slender style bottles fit just right but they are really expensive.Customer Review: Medela Bottles

Medela has great products, but these new bottles are not my favorite.
The nipple ring cracks the first time you drop the bottle.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find any of the old styles
that are thicker. Medela changed the ring in 2009.

They only give you 4 bottles to use in the Medela Pump In Style Metro Bag set. Trust me, you will need more than that. This is the perfect set. It also comes with a sterlizing bag. SOO much more convenient than the clunky plastic sterlizers for the microwave.
