I just bought this carseat today for my 2 year old son and wish I had bought it much sooner. It is by far the most secure fitting car seat I have ever had and installs in minutes. He seems very comfortable in it as well and I really feel that he is as safe as can be. I love that it goes up to 65 lbs. We had the Evenflo Triumph before the Britax Marathon and the Britax surpasses the Triumph by a long shot in sturdiness, ease of installation, comfort, ability to grow with the child, and most importantly--safety. This carseat doesn't move at all side to side or forward/back once installed properly. I LOVE IT!!!Customer Review: safe, comfortable, and user-friendly

My husband and I researched safety and comfort. britax is an european company. therefore, they test their seats in europe where the standards for crash tests are performed at a higher speed than american made car seats. their tests were performed at highway speeds and received outstanding safety reviews. second to that, my son is a larger child (25lbs at 1yr) and we found the is seat to have broader shoulder space and seems to be comformtable for him. finally, the weight limit is 65lbs not the standard 40lbs, so, we can keep him in a car seat longer rather than swithcing to a booster before he turns 4.Customer Review: Saved my son's life

My son and I were recently involved in a rollover accident. It was extremely scary, but my son was sitting in his Britax Marathon carseat and he walked away from the accident without a scratch! He stayed perfectly in position during the whole accident and was just waiting for me to take him out of his seat when it was all done. When I went out a few days later to replace my carseats, I bought new carseats for my husband's car as well because he didn't have Britax carseats. (We have 2 little boys, but only one of them was with me during the accident.)Customer Review: The Best Available

This is the best car seat available. My son(18 months) has never cried when we put him in his britax. We will never buy another car seat. Although the weight stated is 5-65 lbs I have one complaint. When he was first born(8 lbs 8oz) the hospital would not let him ride home in the britax due to him not being long enough(20 1/2 inches).By the time he was four months we were able to put him in. As for the price, I can't put a price on my childs safety. Can you?Customer Review: Great Seat

My son is 9 months old now and I have to say that I love this seat. It is so easy to install and uninstall and move to another car. I love how easy it is to get him in and out and the little velcro tags make it nice and simple. It fits nicely in my SUV and I can still see the mirror in the back. I can even reach him if he needs a toy. I have to say all around I really do like this car seat.
