The base stopped working. The main camera socket is loose so it turns off because there's no electric current going to it.
The night vision is NOT automatic, so you have to pick it up to change it to night mode and then the camera that you so carefully positioned has to be repositioned again! So annoying.
I bought the Summer video camera that has auto night mode and moves almost 360 and 180 up/down plus zooms in. That one is sooo worth it. The Mobi one that just sits there and is static is not worth the money.

The Mobicam Ultra is by far the best baby monitor we've owned! We used to own a 2.4 ghz baby monitor that would interfere with our cordless phones and cut off our internet connection. Wanting to try something different, we came across the MobiCam Ultra. We were amazed by the clear sound and picture quality! It is also portable and very easy to use. With the night vision feature, we don't have to get up out of bed and stumble around in the dark to check on the baby. We rely on this monitor and would recommend it to everyone!Customer Review: Works great for us...

We've had this product for a little over two years. Used it with both our sons without any issues. The video and audio is great. Our son's room is in the basement; we get no video, nor audio interference on the 1st floor where two monitors are located. The only reason it gets four stars is because the camera can only be angled up or down. You have to position it just right to see in the baby's crib. Other than that, we haven't had any of the issues the other reviewers mentioned. I guess we just got lucky.Customer Review: Do not buy anything from MOBI ever!!!

My husband and i have gone through two mobicam ultra and two mobi night lights in the last year. we have two boys age two and three who share a room so having a night light and a video monitor is imperative. all together we have spent over $500 on MOBI products and have tothing to show for it. the products just stop working for no reason, there is no way of getting a refund or replacement. we now have a new baby on the way and will never buy another product from MOBI.

I bought 2 of these video monitors, 1 for our house and 1 for grandparents' house. I bought them refurbished, one set looked like it was opened but not used, the other set looked like it was used (and abused). One set broke down after a month. There was no sound and the screen went bad, we could hardly see anything. The second set worked for about 6 months then the sound stopped working. We ended up buying the Sony monitor (just sound, no camera) and had been using it for a year.
