Since my daughter recently turned four months old, I figured she would probably be ready for a nipple with a faster flow. However, these were WAY too fast for her. Almost as soon as the bottle went into her mouth she started to choke a little bit because it was just too much. So while she seems to really like the Stage 1 nipples, these are still just a bit to fast for her. I do use them when I give her bottles with cereal in them though becuase the milk is thicker and doesn't come out as fast.
