Customer Review: The everything sponge!

We gave our son all his sponge baths on this "pillow". He seemed quite comfortable on it. We never used it in the tub or sink because I ended up using it so often throughout the day! Our son didn't like sleeping on his back, but when he slept on the SaferBather pillow, he slept alot longer, and everyone was happier! We also used it as a place to set him down in a hurry, and to take pictures! THe nice thing was you could pick up the pillow and him if he fell asleep in the parlor, for instance, and place him in his crib,pillow and all.It didn't come with a removable cover, so I stuck it in a pillow case and pinned it for easy cleaning. Once he was able to arch his back and nearly roll, we stopped letting him sleep on it. And now that our he'too old for sleeping on it (it's flattened out some from the extended use!), I still keep in in the bottom of his oversized bassinet, near the changing table, where it's OK that his legs hang over the end of the pillow. It makes a great, comfortable place to set him down after his bath, or when changing outfits. I wish I'd had two of these, one for the bath, too!

I was a little leery about this bather at first, Initially registered for one of those 4 in 1 convertible tubs, but after checking their ratings, and finding that no one had anything good to say about any of them I settled on this instead because this was the only one that anyone seemed to like. I was worriecd that after a short time the cushion would begin to grow mold or something like that on the inside, because it kind of resembles a pillow and it would be wet all the time. I was also concerned about how long it would take to dry. It seems to dry very quickly and the material used in the cushion doesn't seem like it would mold quickly although I don't know if it will need to be replaced in six months. If it did I wouldn't consider it a very bad thing as it is rather inexpensive. Last but definitely not least, I find it incredibly easy to bathe my newborn in this, it is contoured perfectly to fit a baby, has good head support for an infant, and she seems to be very comfortable in this cushion. This is definitely a must have for new moms, I will be reccomending it to everyone. Perfect shower gift!!!!!!!!Customer Review: Never using a plastic tub again!

I tried a plastic tub at first with my first son and it just seemed so big & hard (even with a towel under him) on his little tender body. I received one of these safer bathers as a gift and was immediately in love with it! It's soft, safe, and I used it well into my son's second year of bathing. It keeps the heat of the water in it so their little bodies stay nice and warm. When he was older, it was great for him to sit on while he played in the tub.
It rings out easily and once hung up to dry, it is dry and ready to go by the next bathing. Mine never smelled or got musty or mildewy. We just had our second baby and I bought a new one for him, never even considering another option (even though I had several offers from friends and family for the other tubs). Honestly, I would have used my first son's bather, but we had finally thrown it away thinking we were done having kids - ha! surprise!
I highly recommend this for any new parent. Also - until your newborn can be bathed, it is a great soft place to set your little one while you sponge bath them.

I use the Safer Bather every night in our Euro Tub and together they are a wonderful pair...the best thing about this product is that enables you to bathe your child hands-free and also provides the utmost comfort for your child. It makes bath time so much fun and not stressful!! A few comments stated that they had trouble with mold, etc. This should not be a problem if you properly maintian ANY of your children's items. We hang ours to dry EVERY night in the shower after giving it a quick sqeeze to get the water out. Then, every weekend I put it in the wash with the whites (hot water and a little bleach on the extra rinse cycle)and I have not had ANY trouble what-so-ever with mold, and we use it every night. My son is now 6 months old and after being washed EVERY week since he was born, it remains in wonderful condition...I even put it in the dryer (on low) to make sure it gets completely dry every now and then, and it has kept its shape wonderfully. I HIGHLY recommend this product and give Leacho, Inc. a thumbs up and "thank you" for creating such a great product.Customer Review: Simply safe and easy!

I for one think that this bather is the best out there. With my first, I used a traditional plastic tub and always felt so nervous bathing him when he was so little. With this, I never had to worry about my youngest falling out or hurting him. He loves bathtime on his warm, cozy throne! I don't get all of these mother's complaining about it. Almost 99% of the complaints I've seen are that it's hard to use with their little one in the bathtub. Well, yeah I would imagine it is. Why bother buying this if you're still going to attempt to bend over a big bathtub. Whatever works for you though, more power to you, but I wouldn't have considered it if that was something I planned to do. It's great to use in the bathtub once they're able to sit on their own though. My little one now sits in the big tub on this and I don't have to worry about him falling over! I wanted something not only safer for my baby but, just as importantly, more user friendly for me and hubby. This is it! The smart solution is to use in the sink, which it seems is what the actual purpose is!
