I purchased this online after trying several products from local Toys R Us stores with terrible results. Most of the products I've found are too small for our crib and come right off or barely cover the crib rail. This crib rail cover looks great, fits well, protects the entire length of the rail and is EASY to install. Do yourself a favor and buy this well before your kids can pull themselves up.
Some people suggest just using a towel instead of spending money on this, but for me it is totally worth it. A towel is hard to secure, looks sloppy and cheap. Kids are expensive enough...whats an extra $20 to properly protect the crib and your kid's mouth.

This works great for what I needed to keep my daughter from chewing on the side of the crib, only thing is, recently she has discovered how easily it pulls apart since the only real thing that holds it in is a few velcro straps. I think there could be some things built into the top underside to tie it down or help reinforce it. Once one of the velcro straps is undone the kids have access to at least a 1/3 of the railing. It's very good for when they can just stand up, but once they get more advanced they can remove it easier - so I think I will be adding some things to mine - sewing on some straps on some snaps or something to make it continue to work for me.Customer Review: Wish I would have bought it sooner.

This rail cover fits my convertible crib perfectly. I just wish I would have bought it BEFORE my daughter started gnawing on her crib. Something else I realized is that my belt buckle had made a worn and rubbed off mark from leaning over the rail to place her down to sleep. Since the rail will ultimately serve as a foot board, I wish I'd purchased this cover earlier for that reason too- not to mention that it has some cushion to it, so it makes leaning over the crib rail easier and more comfortable. As my daughter learned how to pull herself up to her baby bed crib rail, she started to use the rail for teething practice! We're so glad that we purchased this crib rail cover in time to save the bed and to save our baby from eating any paint. The height of the rail covers can easily fit many sized bed rails and is easy to remove for cleaning. We bought both the front rail & side rails, strangely from 2 different vendors on Amazon, but everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. We had to buy a new crib due to our original one being recalled. The old crib had a built in teething rail / cover and the new one had nothing. I had to find something fast and something that would fit the new crib, which was a 4-in-1 Lifetime crib. The Lifetime cribs are wider than the standard cribs. This teething rail / cover is PERFECT! It's safe, soft, and protects both my daughter's teeth and the beautiful crib! I would highly recommend this to anyone!
