I bought 2 of these, one for each rail of my daughter's crib. They were my solution to having the rails chewed up! They are easy to put on and take off and they wash well. I ended up cutting the toy holder things off...they just got in my way when I was trying to lay her down asleep (the velcro sound). I told all of my girl friends about these and several of them have ordered them! A good buy!Customer Review: Poorly designed--a complete waste of money

This product attaches with a velcro strip--it did not stay attached to the top of the rail at all. My baby pulled it off--then i tied it on with string and my son was able to lift it off where it was not tied on! I ended up buying the kidcushion gummi crib rail--and it worked much better. This is a very well-made teething rail cover, and it would work well for the front rail of the crib. My need unfortunately was for the side rails, as my son discovered the built-in teether along the front railing wasn't nearly as much fun to chew on as the side rails. Be aware that the teether is built to tie around a fairly thin rail, and many crib railings are wider (thicker) than this.Customer Review: Very happy with crib rail cover

Have tried and tossed the gummy plastic rail cover - my daughter chewed on it and the adhesive started coming off, then moisture started getting underneath... not good. This is a much better alternative for us. I like that I can throw it in the wash and she doesn't seem to even want to chew on the fabric, which was the plan! I originally tried the Prince Lion rail guard and because it comes in multiple sections, my one year old figured out very quickly how to remove them. I wanted a product that did the job without ruining the crib. This product is great. It is secure so that he cannot remove it and prevents him from chewing on the rails very efficiently. I only wish it came in other colors.
