I did a little research on crib rail covers before buying one. I was surprised to hear about all the problems with the hard plastic covers -- I just assumed those would work. I took a chance on this cover and it worked great for us. Our daughter is not terribly destructive and only chewed on the drop rail -- not the head or foot boards or the back side of the crib. So one cover worked for us, and although she soaked it through with drool, she never tore it up.Customer Review: Great to keep teeth off the crib

These are nice crib wraps, they attach between the rails with velcro and hold strong with only a little bit of the velcro touching. Only negative is they could be about 2 inches longer to cover the entire length of the top bar. I ended up leaving the uncovered area at the end of the bed he tends not to stand up as much in. Not sure why there are 3 straps on these for toys as it is for a crib not a playpen, I don't intend to use them and may cut them off.Customer Review: Protects the babies' gum

My 8-month old twins are crib-standing and biting the rail. My babies enjoy the toys that we're able to hang on the velco tabs shown on the picture. This rail cover provides a soft surface for them to sooth their gum without hurting too much on a hard surface. I wish the guard was thicker, but I already read about that on other review prior to purchase so it wasn't a surprise. The velcro makes it easy to install and remove for washing.Customer Review: Cribsaver!

I just received this yesterday and it has saved our crib. My 10 month old daughter recently decided she loved to eat the drop down side of her crib. We tried some of those hard plastic ones and even though it is not a wide railing they still wouldnt fit. This was a perfect solution! The fabric covers almost the entire length of the rail with maybe an inch on each end. I haven't used the straps for the teething toys yet, but the soft rail cover is perfect for my daughter. I would cringe when I would see her gnawing on the rail. This cover puts me at ease. It's easy to install, remove, and wash. Velcro lines the entire bottom of the cover.
The only thing I would have changed is the length. Once installed, it's about two inches shorter than my daughter's crib rail.
