I bought this in prevention of my daughter bitting on her crib. I was looking for a clear rubber/plastic rail cover but after reading the bad reviews on the ones available on Amazon I decided to go for this one instead. It's super easy to install, washable, and it looks much nicer that I expected. White works for me (her crib is white and dark wood) but it would be nice if they were offering other colors (hence the 4 stars).
My daughter hasn't started bitting on it yet so I can't really tell if it works or not but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I purchased this cover after having tried the Gummi Rail Cover. The Gummi Rail Cover would have worked but my son had chewed off too much paint and it failed to stick in the areas he ate. The package did state that this may happen and suggested sanding the crib but I didn't want to remove any more paint. The Leacho Cover is very easy to attach and remove and is machine washable. We have already washed it several times and it still looks brand new. I like that it not permanently attached to the crib. I would absolutely recommend this product!Customer Review: Probably would not buy again

Only purchase if your railing is a narrow rod. Otherwise, the padding is not wide enough to go all the way around. This means the velcro strips will not meet. We are adding straps with snaps to secure ours.
If you decide to buy, consider buying more than one. The length was just shy of our crib's width. ...and what do you do when the child looks to one of the the three other un-protected rails to start gnawing on?

The Easy Teether does the job of protecting the crib and gums, but does not stick to our crib particularly well. Rather than having adhesive that immediately sticks, it apparently needs some time to settle. For us, this meant taping it down on the ends, so that while it was to be sticking, our 9 month old did not tear it off the crib entirely.
While we used this on the ends of the crib, we found the cloth cover that drapes over the crib to do a better job - as there is no actual sticking involved.

My 10 month old daughter had started chewing on the crib rails, much to my dismay. I have a crib with the traditional drop down side. It is a little short to cover the whole length of the rail, but with the spots to put some toys, that doesn't seem to be an issue. My daughter loves it, it is extremely easy to install, and adds a nice look to the crib. The only downfall is the price for one, there are 2 rails on the crib, so you have to buy two. Overall though, I believe this product is worth it.
