I love this product! My one-year-old decided to start teething on his crib rail, and we all know that crib manufacturers only cover the TOP of the rail with plastic...do they just not know about those bottom teeth? My son was chipping the paint off like crazy, and it was driving me nuts! I looked at other products that adhere to the crib rail, but I have no intention of damaging my crib any further, so I went with this one. Well worth the money! My son no longer teethes on the crib rails, and he is entertained by the toys I can hang from the cover while he is settling down for naptime. I would highly recommend this product! (I have a white crib, and this cover looks nice on the side rail.)Customer Review: no more bites

my one-year old started biting his crib and i looked everywhere for a rail guard to keep him from denting up the crib. many of the guards didn't fit my particular crib, so i decided on this. it's basically a padding that velcros over the side. it is SOOO easy to put on. it has 3 velcro loops that you can hang teething toys from, which is nice. i was worried that the velcro wouldn't keep the guard in place, or that my child would be able to pull it off. it is really heavy-duty velcro, though. he has started pulling it off a little, but it hasn't been too much of a problem. at least that keeps him busy instead of chewing on the side of the crib! overall, i'm glad i got it!Customer Review: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I bought this for my son who was biting the crib rail. I was so dissapointed. I thought there would be more padding, but its just a very thin layer of batting, which isnt useful at all. Another thing is that it is attached with velcro which my son learned to rip right off. He liked doing it so much it became the first thing he would do because he loved the sound of it. It also looked awckward because of how it only attached in between the slats of the crib (which is another reason why it is so easy to rip off) so it didnt have a smooth finish. I really liked this product at first and would have given it five stars then. I like that it attaches by velcro so that it doesn't damage the crib rail and it has little tabs when I can attach toys. I also appreciated that it is washable since my baby drools all over it! However, my son is now able to pull it off when he is standing. When I come into his room, sometimes half of the cover is hanging off of the crib. I wonder if it might be better designed if there was more velcro to make it stay on a bit more, but overall I am happy with this product.Customer Review: doesn't fit our standard crib

I registered for this product since we spent so much money on our convertible crib- I wanted to protect the wood so we could actually use it as a "big boy bed" ... I kept it in the packaging and didn't take it out until our baby was 8 months old and starting to stand in the crib and put his mouth on the rail. I just learned it doesn't fit (it's too small and the velcro sides don't touch!). Now I can't return it and I have to somehow sew/build velcro extenders to make this work! Urg! Lesson learned: Try it on your crib before the return policy expires!!
