Customer Review: HUGE Pillow!
Summary: 3 Stars

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and I got this pillow a couple weeks ago. The main problem I have with sleeping is that my hips are killing me from constantly laying on my side. I thought this pillow might help after my nurse practitioner recommended getting a Leacho pillow. If hip pain is your problem this pillow is not the answer. I don't know if anything is the answer as I just want to lay on my back but have been told I can't by my doctor. The pillow is gigantic! I mean it is really big. We have a queen size bed and my poor husband is stuck on the edge because this pillow takes up so much room. If you have a king size bed the size of the pillow should be no problem. I don't understand the reviews that say it's not long enough. I'm 5'8" and the pillow is plenty long for me. I can't imagine if this thing was any bigger. When I first go to bed I find it very comfortable if I can situate it so that it's supporting my back and I can hug the front of it. But after sleeping for a couple hours my hips start killing me and now with this pillow one of my arms always hurts and goes numb because the pillow forces you to have one arm underneath it so that you are laying on one arm. You can see this from the pictures of the woman laying on her side. If I had to buy it again I probably would not but if I had a king size bed and did not have the problem with hip pain it would be a lot better.

Customer Review: Nothing a few regular pillows can't do!
Summary: 3 Stars

I had a $50 gift card, so I really only paid $10 for this pillow. I don't think it should've been more than $30. I mean, honestly: pregnancy has become commercialized just as much as Christmas and weddings! There is no reason at all that this pillow should be 60 freaking bucks!

1. It's huge and bulky. I have a queen sized bed and it took up over half the space.

2. It's comfy enough, but turning over to lay on your other side proves difficult because you're sunken into it like one of those inner tubes kids play in when swimming.

3. At this price, this pillow needs to include the pillow cover! Come ON, manufacturer, cut us a break!

4. The pillow meets its objective well enough: supports your belly and back IF you lay on top of those little curved parts in the middle of the little donut hole you're supposed to lay in. But eventually you sink too far into the donut hole for the flappy thingies to work anymore.

I got the pillow to try and help ease my hip pain (I'm 34 weeks pregnant). At its best, this pillow helped me sleep about 3 hours before my hips started hurting again. I accomplish the same thing laying on a regular pillow, tucking another between my knees, and another under my head...AND, it's easier for me to turn over that way.

Save your $60 and get some nice, firm pillows elsewhere.

Customer Review: Still can't live without it
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this pillow when I was pregnant with my second child. I am a side and back sleeper and have slept for most of my life with a little pillow under my knees. But it gets awkward when switching from side to side or from back to side, having to readjust the pillow without waking up. With my first pregnancy I got a long pillow but that was even more of a challenge to move around without stealing all the covers from my husband while transferring a very large pillow over a very large tummy.

So with my second pregnancy I found this pillow and never looked back. There is no need to readjust the pillow as I turn from side to side. There is full support for knees, arms and back, and tummy (when you are pregnant). In a queen it was a tight squeeze but it fits no problem on a king size bed.

The only problem is I can't wean myself off it. After my dd was born I tried to get rid of it but was begging my husband to let me use it again after only a few nights. He calls it the "Great Wall" but humours me since I am much happier with a good night's sleep. I love the full support it gives. It is like being a big body hug all night. The pillow case is somewhat of a pain to get back on after taking it off to wash, but I can live with that inconvenience for the comfort it brings. I like this pillow so much I even took the time to write this review. :)

Customer Review: A Must Have
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this pillow during my second pregnancy 4 years ago and was so thankful that I did. I was reluctant to purchase it at the time and actually paid more for it at that time....I suppose it was new on the market....but it was the best purchase ever. It supported my back and my belly as it says and I absolutely loved it. I was struggling with being uncomfortable at night....needing belly support....needing back support....and wow, this did the trick and then some. My husband even wanted one for himself. Mind you I'm 5'3" and he is 6'2" and we both found it comfortable. The material never bothered me like some reviewers have said, nor did it cut into my neck or shoulders. It is a huge pillow and it did take up half of our queen size bed but even so my husband was still comfortable on his side even with me using this massive pillow. I actually gave my pillow to my sister-in-law who had back problems (she wasn't pregnant...just struggled with back problems) and she loved it and used it like crazy. Now I'm pregnant with baby #3 and am considering ordering another one. I've been reading other reviews for similar pillows and I just keep coming back to this one because it relieved so much of my sleeping discomfort. Highly recommend. (It is difficult to get the cover on and off for washing but that's not enough to take any stars away.)

Customer Review: Not as comfortable as I had hoped
Summary: 3 Stars

I had heard wonderful things about the Leachco Snoogles, so I bought this body pillow from Leachco with high hopes. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed.

The pillow is designed to go under your head and down either side of your body. It does give great support to both your back and belly. It is great if you frequently flip from side to side- you don't have to reposition the pillow.

There were several things I didn't like, however. First, it is uncomfortable under my head. I'm used to sleeping on a down pillow and I like to be able to squish my pillow around my head. I couldn't do that with the Back 'N Belly because it was flattened by the fact that it was connected to the parts that went down each side of my body. I tried putting a thin down pillow over it and that helped, but then it almost lifted my head too high.

I also found that the cover caused the pillow to be too stiff. It felt like the cover was stretched too tight across the top. It was quite uncomfortable stretching over or under my shoulder. I finally removed the cover and it is much more comfortable without it. Unfortunately, it is not washable without the cover and the fabric on the pillow itself is thin and pills very easily.

Overall, I'm disappointed and I wish I hadn't spent over $50 for this pillow.
