Customer Review: Worth the Money
Summary: 5 Stars

I started having trouble sleeping as soon as I was required to sleep on my side -- around 14 weeks into my pregnancy. At first I made-do with a selection of pillows from my house. I was hesitant to buy something so large when I live in a tiny apartment and would have no where to store it after the pregnancy is over. At around 25 weeks, I got desperate and bought this pillow -- absolutely worth the money and worth the space concerns. Since purchasing the pillow, I have been sleeping more soundly with less side pain (my main complaint was a soreness on the outside of my hip from the pressure of sleeping in one position and extra weight of my belly.)

Pros:
- The two-sided design allows you to switch sides easily during the night with no shifts in the pillow
- The shape of the pillow is perfectly contoured to support your belly and hip -- where you need the support the most
- The shape allows you to sleep in this little pod with support for your head -- no other pillows needed
- The filling is firm and comfortable
- It fits easily in a queen sized bed or larger

Cons:
- The cover is a little "scratchy" as some others have noted. It hasn't bothered me, but might be a concern if you have very sensitive skin.
- I likely will have trouble storing this after my pregnancy is over (but it's worth it for sound sleeping in the next several months)

Bottom Line: Good buy for my needs.

Customer Review: Wonderful for back pain and pinched nerve.
Summary: 4 Stars

I've had this pillow since my fourth month of pregnancy. This pillow is the only thing that I've found that allows me to sleep without pain shooting down my leg due to the pinched nerve that I've developed during pregnancy. In fact, the nerve seems to be healing itself and no longer causes pain when I bend over. This pillow works really well to turn a confirmed stomach sleeper into a side sleeper, because you put your head on the curved portion, one of the long sides between your knees, and then the other long side tight behind you to hold you on your side. Before this pillow, I was getting backaches from the strain of using muscles that I'd never used before to hold myself on my side, and I'd always roll back onto my stomach as soon as I went to sleep.

There are some downsides to the pillow--firstly, it is huge. My husband jokes that it is my two new boyfriends. Unless you have a queen sized or larger bed, this will not fit in the bed with you and your husband and you may end up sleeping by yourself in the guest room. Secondly, it is a little tricky to get the cover on and off, although this really is no big deal. Lastly, it does tend to hold you in one position all night, so if you toss and turn a lot, it may frustrate you a bit.

Despite those downsides, which caused me to give this pillow a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating, this is the only thing I have found that allows me to get comfortable, relax, and sleep without pain.

Customer Review: Not what I expected...
Summary: 1 Stars

I have had back and hip problems for a long time, and my pregnancy has only made it worse. I purchased this pillow after having read several good reviews. The things I liked most were that it would support both my back and my belly, it fit between my knees, and I didn't have to struggle to get out of it to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. When I got it, it lasted less than week. Here's why: (1) The thing is HUGE. If we didn't have a king-size bed, my husband would have been sleeping on the couch. (2) It was hot. Being pregnant has only made my body temperature higher and having this huge pillow wrapped around me all night made it worse. (3) It wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be. The seam in the curve where your head goes did cut into my shoulder. It seemed to do that because I was stretching the legs down to reach between my knees and around my back. I tried to reposition the pillow so the seam didn't cut into my shoulder, but in order to do that, I couldn't have the legs as far down as I needed to fit between my knees. I'm only 5'5", and this thing made me feel like I was 6' tall. (4) It never stayed where I wanted it to. (5) My back actually hurt WORSE when I was using it. I think this was because I couldn't ever get comfortable with it.

I haven't purchased anything else since returning this item, but I'm thinking of getting one that just goes down one side of the body that isn't nearly as large.

Customer Review: No Complaints
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this pillow when I was 22 weeks. I read just about every comment on this website, trying to decide which pillow to purchase. I was a little nervous purchasing this pillow because of some of the complaints I read, but I decided to buy it anyways because it seemed like the most for my money...none of the other pillows provide both front and back support at once!

I really have no complaints about this pillow, and I feel like all the complaints I read about were so nit-picky. No, the pillow case is not 400count Egyptian cotton...but it is NOT scratchy. I haven't attempted to put the case through the washer yet, but to reduce the frequency of having to do that, I just cut the bottom of a normal pillow case and slipped it onto where my face goes. So far, the stuffing hasn't separated. One thing I did agree with is that the seam inside the curved part of the pillow is definitely tight and can create some discomfort, but you can simply reposition your head/neck so that it doesn't bother you. Oh, and YES it is quite a large pillow and takes up a little more than half our Queen size bed, but my husband (who is a large man) likes to cuddle with it too and is willing to give up some of his space for my comfort. He wants rights to it when the baby is born. :o)

All in all, I definitely recommend this pillow. It is worth the money and the comfort it provides. It makes you feel so snuggly and secure. A great buy.

Customer Review: PERFECT FOR THE PREGNANT!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

WORDS JUST CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE... how you feel when you first lay in this pillow. I waited until i was 7 months pregnant to purchase this because of the price.. but after MANY sleepless nights and back aches, belly weight pains you name it I gave in. I promise you don't settle for the cheaper version because of the price.. the full back n belly pillow is worth it.. knowing what i know now... i would even pay more for it and not think twice about it.

This pillow has allowed me to get a FULL nights sleep by comforting my whole body. The neck part is VERY comfortable not to stuffed and not to soft, the wrap arounds secure your body and protect your belly and back giving you the sense that you're fully protected. Also the way that the pillow wraps around your body and can go in between your legs to keep your body aligned is AMAZING!!
There are so many different positions you can use with this pillow.. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PILLOW!

Ladies... your husband, or boyfriend will HATE IT... lol because it keeps you on your side of the bed and keeps them on theirs holding each other does become a challenge but as I explained to mine... I could get a full nights sleep and not be AS grumpy or I can continue to add to my grumpiness by not getting enough sleep..you decide.. he QUICKLY agreed that the pillow stays. ;)
*WARNING!! if you let him lay in it once... you may not get it back
