My 4 month old loves it, and has loved it since he was around 3 months old. I hang it from his bassinet, the toy bar on his stroller/car seat, and the toybar on his swing. It always catches his interest and as he's growing he's discovering new things about it. That the feet make sounds or feel crunchy, etc. It's great to watch him engage a toy like this. We got this toy as a gift and my daughter has been happy with it since 4 mo old... We used to shake it for her and now since she is old enough to use her hands she is very busy exploring the different parts of the giraffe.. the stretch legs the colorful hoofs, tail, mane et al. This toy helps her get her milk down sooner with some distractions.... I love this and will be buying more lamaze toys for her!!!Customer Review: My daughter loves it!

When my daughter was 2 months old, I bought this toy in hopes that it would help her develop her grabbing skills. Not only has she done that, but she LOVES to stare into his eyes and laugh and smile. She has begun having conversations with him as I help him respond to her babbling. The colors on it are also exciting and stimulating for her... who wouldn't smile when you look at him?Customer Review: Very Cute

My baby really likes this. She chews on the feet and though she would never be strong enough to make the squeekers squeek, it catches her attention pretty good when me or my husband do it. She also loves the rattling sound the ears make and likes to chew on the ears as well. The bright yellow color of the body is another favorite of hers.
Overall and awesome toy.

Stretch the Giraffe is definitely nice. He doesn't, however, hold my 5 month old daughter's attention for very long. By far her favorite is Freddie the Firefly. She's had it since she was 3.5 months old and has played with it consistently almost every day since. I also recently bought her Princess Sophie which is super cute and she likes that one too.
