Baby Products Reviews of Lamaze Play and Grow Mortimer the Moose Take Along Toy, Colors May VaryCustomer Review: 4 month old grandsons favorite Summary: 5 Stars
My grandson has had this moose for a couple of months now. He enjoyed it tremendously while he could only lay on his back and the Moose hung close by..he then started swatting at it as he learned to coordinate his arms then as he got better it was his favorite toy to grab, then eventually put the legs in his mouth..followed by putting the rings that hang off the Moose's end into his mouth ...we think as teething aids...as well as the plastic antlers. He seems to enjoy them tremendously. all in all, there is something wonderful about Mortimer the Moose.
Customer Review: Lamaze Mortimer the Moose Summary: 5 Stars
I love this toy! My baby's 5 months old and he seems to love the crinkly noises it makes as well as the antlers being great for teething. His favorite are the feet. They have silky/soft bottoms and a couple feet are crinkly and the other two have different rattle/jingly sounds. He's soft and snuggly as well as having a squeaker in the middle you can squeeze. The hook on top is a bonus for hanging it from the car seat or other toys that dangle over top of him. I'm very happy about Mortimer and plan on checking out some other Lamaze toys similar to him.
Customer Review: A great variety of textures and feels for your little one Summary: 5 Stars
We renamed Mortimer the Moose to Bruce the Moose shortly after buying him, just because we felt the name fitted him better ;)
We have a couple of the Lamaze toys and Bruce has been the favorite with our son. From a young age, he was intrigued by the different colors, shapes and textures, and the clip means it can travel from the play mat to the car to the stroller.
He's not a snuggly toy, but Bruce does encourage touch and play from an early age. As a Dad with little toy knowledge until now, Bruce is a must have.
Customer Review: Mortimer is back as best friend of Chloé Summary: 5 Stars
Mortimer as dropped in the streets of Madrid and a mere 30 seconds of inattention from her dad were enough for someone to pick it up and take it away. As Chloé's favorite stroller ride toy, it had to be replaced.
The toy is great for kid of all ages (from 6mo to 18 at least) as it has different textures, feet that makes different sounds (bells, "crunchy" sound, all of soft fabric touch...). Also has horns and rings in the tail, made of hard plastic, also with some texture for easy grip.
Very highly recommended.
Customer Review: My Daughter's favorite! Summary: 5 Stars
Every child has that one toy they cannot leave home without- this is it for our daughter. Mortimer Moose is by far her favorite toy. There are so many colors and textures and places to grab onto, she never gets bored. I bought it for her when she was 4 months old, and she is 8 months now and still loves it. I'd absolutely recommend it for any young baby!
Another note- Mortimer's washing instructions say "surface wash only" but I've put him in the washing machine many times with no problem, then hang to dry.
