My Mother bought this for my son when he was 1 month old. The first time he saw it his face lit up. He absolutely loved it from the first moment and the love affair continues. When our little man starts to get fussy Mortimer's appearance completely reverses the situation. Everything on Mortimer does something: crinkly legs and ears, rattle feet, teether antlers, etc! I haven't really seen anything like it. Mortimer's face is so adorable, great construction, fun colors, lots of uses, what isn't to completely love about this toy? We like it so much its become a baby shower gift staple!Customer Review: My daughter's favorite car toy!

This plush, squeaky, crinkly toy is my daughter's favorite car toy and has been for 5 months! She teethed on it and kisses it and loves to hold it in her lap in the car. It holds up well and is handy to hook onto a bag, stroller, whatever to keep it in tow- a priceless factor in infant/toddler toys! She actually reached for it herself when we shopped at Toys 'r Us before Christmas and giggled when we let her hold it in the store- won her an early present too! She was 8 1/2 months old then and is now 13 1/2 months old and she still likes this toy. That's all the review necessary!Customer Review: Ozzy loves his "Marty Moose"

When my baby was born this was the first toy I introduced to him. When he was about 3 months old he started to really love his "Marty" (We nicknamed it.) Now at 5 months, it's his buddy. He carries it around when we go from one room to another. Marty's jingly bells, and squeaker helped distract him during his 4 month vaccinations. Marty keeps him entertained in the car, and he loves chewing on Martys ears, and rings. I think that this is going to be his buddy for a long time. I think I might get the peacock too, just to see how he likes that one since he loves this one so much.Customer Review: Cute Toy, Big for Young Infants

I thought Mortimer was a little pricey but we received him as a gift. I was so impressed with the quality that I have since purchased similar products from Lamaze. While my son has like Mortimer from the beginning, he was just too big for him to play with until about 6 months old. He loves chewing on his ears (though I had to hold the toy for him) and sucks on his feet. I love the ring attachment allowing you to clip onto carseat, stroller, jumper, etc. Mortimer is so cute and my son, 7.5 months, is enjoying him even more now that he can play with it by himself.Customer Review: Good product but my baby wasn't interested

I bought 4 Lamaze toys based on their 5 stars reviews, Buzz the Bug, Freddie the Firefly, Mortimer the Moose, and Jacques the Peacock. They are all beautiful and good quality and all have teething rings, squeakers, crinkles, and rattles. BUT to be honest Jacques the Peacock beats them all so easily, my baby only cares about jack. When she was born I show her the High contrast Black and White dots on jack's wings, and she was so mesmerized for several minutes.. While I agree that all Lamaze baby products are good and worth buying, but I think 1 or 2 is enough.
